Seriously the actor that Freddy Carter is!!!!!!!!! His expressions and performance in this season really blew me off. The way there was always vengeance and thought of revenge or some plotting was always seen on his face but when he was with Inej he looked so much at ease and fragile! The casting really is perfect. Specially the scene where Inej was dreaming and we could see Freddy's full figure from his right side and he looked exactly like the Kaz in the books . The one drawn in the collector's edition and the one that I imagined. Oh the chemistry!!!! 10/10
And also AMITA SUMAN AAAAHH!!!!! She's the real INEJ for me. The movement and tremble of her lips when she says that last line to Kaz and her eyes moving on his face. She KILLED IT! WHAT A POWER DUO!!!! IT WAS A CINEMATIC MASTERPIECE AND I WON'T SHUT UP ABOUT IT
The kanej stuff is perfection ❤ I was crying in their final scene that's how good it was. I had hoped Alina would leave because I wanted to see Nikolai and Zoya from the king of scars and I feel like Alina is in the way and Zoya deserves someone nice like Nikolai
(BOOK SPOILER ALERT) I do think Zoya will get her storyline and will end up with Nikolai, they’re just going to structure it differently I think. Maybe dark!Alina will cause the resurrection of the Darkling or she will find her way back to Mal, and Zoya and Nikolai might get closer in the meanwhile

It just brings back memories of reading that line in the book in the middle of the night and losing my mind
This captured the tragedy of Kaz and Inej. I had forgotten just how sad/frustrating their story was 😢
Seeing some of my favourite book scenes on screen this season changed my life😭 Kanej is truly everything to me and Freddy and Amita played their parts brilliantly. They truly became Kaz and Inej😭 UGHH GIVE US SEASON 3 GOD GIVE US SEASON 3😭 or the soc spinoff????
Is there a happy ending for them? I hope so😅

The layering of the quotes in this edit are soooo good. I love that the video started off with them not even looking at each other but parallel and slowly they get closer until they are looking into each other's eyes and Inej is saying her famous quote ahhhh

This is my favourite season 2 edit I’ve seen so far, the music and dialogue chosen are in perfect harmony, neither are distracting from eachother but are working together to create a perfect whole
If they don't finally get their act together in season 3, it's going to be terribly disappointing.

Oh my god this was perfect 😭😭😭 I get that some people say that putting these Crooked Kingdom scenes in s2 was a bit rushed but COME ON!!! Freddy and Amita have embodied Kaz and Inej so well, they’re literally them, from page to screen, no one who has read the books should be upset about it. In terms of characterization of the characters this is PERFECTION, there’s no topping this. And can you imagine if we really get the Crows spin off like… it will be the end of us all😭 let’s watch the show and make it happen!!!!!!

Why is it that every time I see an edit with this song, it is absolutely beautiful but it completely breaks my heart at the same time?

Im conflicted like I like seeing iconic scenes from the books but I wish we saw them later not now it’s to soon to me. they did inej sooooo dirty this season. They have her doing and saying things she would never do. Plus, they didn’t even acknowledge her trauma from the menagerie. The books have so many scenes that demonstrate her trauma. Also, Inej doesn’t seek to kill someone but that’s what they make her do on the show? She only would kill people if THEY try to kill her or if they try to kill her friends. YES, they have moments in the books were it was a thought because of what that particular person was doing/ have done to her. But she never demonstrated that kind of killer like behavior in the books, like they did in the show. She always was I guess conflicted by it because of her religion. She’s always trying to bring out the good in kaz, but instead they had her saying things that in a way encourages his behavior. Definitely after she finds out about pekka. I’ve read this book probably about 12 to 13 times within last year alone (yeah I might be a bit obsessed but let’s ignore that lol) and they had sooo many flash backs to choose from, plus so many opportunities to create new dialogue that correlates with each character in the show. Like the only episode I enjoyed the most with the crows was the one where they went to get the sword. They could have created new situations AND new dialogue but instead they take important moments/plots/ dialogue from the books and throw it into this season without a second thought about pacing or making shore people who haven’t read the books get a complete understanding of each character. They could have dig more into not only kaz but inej’s back story/ trauma. It could have been a season where you see there parallels. Like if i never read the books I would have no idea that inej has any trauma from the menagerie. They forced her to go in there in season one as if she never had problems just walking by that place by herself. Like what happened to character development gradually happening? Like why rush their relationship then basically end their relationship all in one season? CRAZY JUST CRAZY! Then they have her make eyes with another character when in the books seeing some guy she doesn’t know smile at her, make her freeze in fear. Like I said before the only episodes I enjoyed with the crows was the ones that wasn’t watered down from the books. One would be when they went to fine the sword. And yes inej is my favorite character which is why I keep bringing her up. But she was the one that was the most botched out of all the crows. 😳okay sorry for the long message I’ll stop here but I can talk about this all day.😂😭😰🥲😭 with all that said this video is amazing truly and sorry if I misspelled anything.
