Shouldn’t the captive nuts go on the under side of the mudguard, as per the Motone website?

@@robmitchell5737 as I said, it’s up to you way you do the job, it’s just my preference, If you’re happy to do it that way and follow the website, I’ve had no problems or issues with the fender since fitting, thank you once again for your comments and watching the video.

I’ve just done the same thing. Was a bit of a pig getting it in but got there in the end.
Did you manage to get the cradle off without removing the front wheel?

I have got the cradle off, but I had to remove the front wheel. I tried to make some mods up like cut down an Allen Key., but no joy so you have to remove the wheel, thanks for watching the video. There are more modification videos on this channel on the streetscrambler 900 if you’d like to watch the progress more videos to follow..

How is it to ride in the rain/muck with? Any difference? I ordered this last night.

I don’t ride it in the rain, normally, but today I rode out, it was damp and it was bit mucky, not too much debris over the radiator, but I must say it does look very cool with the mudguard or fender up in the air, and when I get the chance, I will be taking that cradle off the forks , thanks for watching the video ,more videos to follow on the progress, to my Triumph, indicators LED ones, Continental tyres off-road to be fitted rack and many more changes to follow.

@@777Ruffdriver Thanks, I’ll follow along for sure I love the bike! What rack and signals are you putting on it?
I have a 2017 and I’m planning on cutting the back part off the high fender and installing another fender low with the front cut off kind of like the fender kits you can get for the 2020 models.
I found a British customs shotgun exhaust for 70% off on marketplace a couple days ago which I plan on cutting to make them look like slashcut exhausts. I got excited and went online and bought a throttle spacer, tail tidy led kit, dual function led rear turn signals, motone gas cap and the fender riser all from AJ Cycles.
I need to choose some beefy tires like you’re talking about, a cage like yours for the headlight, front blinkers and a small fairing. I’m also figuring out what color to wrap the tank since the red isn’t for me. Maybe I’ll make a video of doing the mods. It’s winter here in Canada so it’s the best time to do mods 😂

@@drummer94I’m toyin With an aftermarket rack and a triumph stock rack. The indicators are Triumph accessory LED indicators, which you will see on their website under accessories they ain’t cheap, but if you want to stand out in the crowd, you have to pay the money stay tuned , next video couple weeks hopefully.
