3:51 to 5:41 Gander's idea is brilliant, but it's not 'day-gah', it's 'deuh - ga', and Degas didn't 'make 30-odd' casts. They were made after his death and against his wishes. His original wax piece is in the National Gallery of Art in Washington. The casts, the ones of the Little Dancer Aged Fourteen, in her tutu, aren't in 'different poses' either. They were taken from the original; they're all the same, and very well done. If it's in a different pose, it's a different work. I think Degas did three or four sculptures of a dancer.

now i know how joan of arc felt
as the flames rose to her roman nose and her hearing aid started to melt..."

If you think about it conceptual art isn’t very universal
