- iFFalcon 40F2A is a budget 40" 1080p Smart TV by TCL that runs on Android TV and even has built in chromecast support it also comes with 2 remote and one has voice controls it also supports HDR10 and has micro dimming the audio output is also good thanks to Dolby Audio It also has built in WiFi 2.4Ghz support and bluetooth support.
TCL iFFalcon TV will be sold in India via Flipkart and the pricing for this 40" 40F2A Model is expected to be around Rs 20 - 21K and for the 32" Model would be for Rs 14,999 but on Big Billion Day it would be Rs 13,499.
These TV's would be launch in India via flipkart during the first week of October 2018.
Now TVs are also getting cheaper like smartphones. Nice thing.
customers are the winners here, now TV and smartwatches are becoming cheaper.

iffalcon TVs are now much more value for money than Mi TV'S. iffalcon 4k hdr Google certified Android tv is just 46k while Mi TV 4 pro is 50k (10k increase from previous model introductory price)

In this tv full review. Here are my questions
1. can this TV play 2160p and 1080p x265 HEVC videos from usb
2. Whats the processor and gpu used and their clock speed and codec support details (h.265)
3. can we sideload apps?
4. Since this is 1080p HDR, what happens if i play a video of 4k HDR from usb? will it be perfectly upscaled or will i get white patches for HDR content?
5. How is the screen quality? any screen bleeding issues
6. is there support for Amazon prime

Its a budget tv so expecting this much is not possible. It just costs 21k which is one of the cheapest out there in India.
What about 32 inch TV? Is that good as this one except for display quality. Obivously 32 inch will be hd ready

I know Rubin, I actually got an iffalcon 40 inch, may 2018 version, doesn't have in built andriod capabilities so got MI android tv box, 2 GB Ram and 8 GB storage for 5k, am really Happy with the whole set up.
Buy a chrome cast or amazon fire stick it will become smart tv

Hello Ranjit, Thank you for the great review. I am a great follower of your reviews as the content in your review is more technical than any other reviewers which I like the most. In this Review, I don't see you Testing the TV with HDMI cable to the set top Box. Most of the people on Flipkart complaining about the HDMI connectivity that the TV display flickers in every less than a minute of time continuously. One my own friend also got this TV after I recommended him and complains about the same. The replacement TV from flipkart also has the same issue. So, Request you to include that test also in your review, Thank you.

In this TV 40F2A, the brightness is 320 nits and Contrast is 4000:1(static) is this very low and badly effects picture quality? Should I prefer other TVs which have Brightness 450nits and Contrast 10lac:1 (dynamic)
The brightness of 320nits is definitely slightly on the lower side for a TV claimed to support HDR, but on its own it's acceptable. Unless you want the content to be super-bright and unless you provide proper HDR content, the extra 130nits won't make a lot of difference.
About contrast ratios, always look at static contrast. Dynamic contrast ratios are misleading and can be claimed to be literally ANY value by the manufacturers. Static contrast ratio of 4000:1 is a very good value. Anything above 3000:1 is considered good and can be generated only by very good rare IPS panels or easily by VA panels.

Agree with the features...this is load of crap that you are showcasing mobile functions over a television. Please showcase how a tv performs without internet connection on a smart tv. Need to see that too... understand that it is a smart tv but definitely dont want to w8 for 30sec whenever i want to turn on television...

HDR with VA is a deadly combination. The HDR content especially in gaming looks amazing on VA-HDR panel.If this TV set has 450 nits brightness then its definitely worth purchasing at this price point.
