My 2 cents: To be honest, I was quite skeptical about the Pro VS Mini at first. But after spending some time with it, it's clear to me: Delivering so many features for so little money is quite an achievement. Sonically, the synth is occasionally a bit too lo-fi for my taste, but that's always a matter of personal preference. Especially considering how surprisingly flexible the Pro VS Mini is.
The synth certainly has the potential to integrate into an existing setup without significant sonic redundancy. And for the main criticisms like the mini pots or the semi-playable membrane keyboard, solutions can easily be found.

I only wish there was an on-board delay/reverb, as this synth really shines with a little space. The on-board chorus is nice, though.

Very BoardOfCanadesque! The Empress Reverb sounds lush...

Quite impressing for such a little thing that's so cheap

Just know it's 99$ synth, that is a win all-around.

I don't mind using mini-jacks as long as these connections are on the rear. However, I really dislike having any connections on the top of a unit, unless it's part of a (semi-)modular concept, of course. This setup creates unwanted leverage that could eventually lead to broken connections inside

With a 500€ worth delay unit, any 99€ synth sounds ok…without it, it sounds not good.

This dikhed constantly does this with synths. I told him before that it's not an objective representation of the synth but he gave me a snarky response. F this guy.

I use my 99€ Korg NTS-1 as an effect unit, but I think the synth sounds pretty good even without one. Sure it lacks a proper effect section itself, but not every synth sound needs effects.
But since I am not a great preset designer, I bought a pack of >100 presets for a few Euros. And I uploaded the best 30 to the Synth, and that really made a huge difference. For me it's much easier to mod really good presets than to create them from scratch (or based on the pretty average Behringer defaults).
