    I feel this idea is incomplete, yes, the frames thing makes sense, but to frame everything as a battle I think is the frame of the author.

    Another thing... as an ethical person, as in a marriage relationship, you shouldn't enter a business relationship if the objective of your client is to "screw" you. Nor should you want to "screw" them. If you can't respect each other, and be fair and honest, then the relationship will fail.

    What do you mean 'no one knows if human energy fields exist'? They are known fields and can be measured. The most well-known are the heart field and the brain wave fields - measured by EKG and EEG, respectively. There is the whole body field, consisting of many intersecting fields.

    Es sumamente interesante el analisis de como existen marcos dominantes, todos tenemos nuestro marco de referencia, y se impone el mas domiante, a partir de ese momento todos los demas se subordinan, muy practico el aprendisaje.

    You have obviously never heard of a "win-win" relationship. I'll explain for you... If you help others get what they want, then you can get what you want. It is a healthy symbiotic relationship. It's not about winning and losing... it's about becoming more successful together.

    • @ben-mx3cs
      @ben-mx3cs 5 років тому

      It's just to help you understand how it works. Sometimes "losing" on a micro scale is winning on a macro scale. It's not a zero sum game.

    The funny thing is holding frame is an essential part of the pick up community for a while. If you want to learn more about maintaing frames I suggest people check it out even though you have 0 interest in pick up. I suggest any videos by RSD

    no offense, but this sounds like a very agressiv point of view... typical for our dog-eat-dog-society.. in any social contact are perhaps a 1000 Frames present at any time given.. -since people don't have only one frame. Loosing or giving up ones frame does not necessarily mean to loose frame control but often shows to being able to reason, no? And how about win-win situations? And isn't the best way of keeping ones frame by not involve in frame fight? (excuse my englisch)

    • @rapisode1
      @rapisode1 8 років тому +4

      totally right but if you cannot pitch your frame even though it is factually better than others you end up in a lose-win situation

    Isn't it sad that there is alway a looser frame? What about good ideas in the looser frame? Will they be unheard and die? What you tell us sound right but it is rather a guideline for a battle than for real cooperation when the prerequisite for the discussion was to find the best solution. Or do I not understand?

  • @derwinsierra3223
    @derwinsierra3223 11 років тому +1

    You have to read the book to understand. When you want money from a financial institution or individual who is already successful, from the minute you enter their presence they act like they own you. You have to give them something they want and that my friend is you.

    coming here from the coursera storytelling thing
    it's funny how they wanna tell us how to make meaningful advances in our work communication while directing us to this video here telling us to communicate competitively and impose our wills through persuasive communication lmao
    fuck that, i just wanna hang in the backseat of work conversations and let shit play out, i'm here to do the things i'm paid for and clock the fuck out
    after all every goddamn time the lower hierarchies try to do something cool the higher-ups just curbstomp ideas with their authority and opt for the stupid choice that, because it's stupid, it fails and crashes the bonuses of every worker

    I don't quite agree. Interpersonal relationships cannot only be seen as antagonisms with a sure winner and a sure loser. How about influencing each other consciously or unconsciously towards a shared win.
