Actually you are given two divine Spirits and one new heart which is a heart of flesh rather than a heart of stone. So yeah, internally you are a new creature when you get saved, then baptized and born of the Spirit of God.
I am a born again Christian and I have given up and surrendered my life for Him, but what if I get the urge to sin and what if I actually still do sin? You said that once we are born again our spirits change and our desires change. My desires have completely changed, I do not have the desire to do any of my past sinful deeds and I don’t crave the worldly things. Except sometimes I do. I’m a little confused. I’m sure I’m born again but am I not?
Your new spirit has no desire for sin, but of course we still have to deal with the unrenewed mind and the flesh. But the more your spirit takes dominion over the flesh, you’ll be able to conquer any sinful tendencies! So yes a born again person may still feel those fleshly desires, but we have power to overcome it! It’s definitely a daily process and journey of yielding to our spirit rather than the flesh. Hope this helps!
@@justinandvictoriaboudreauxhelps for sure. I’m a new born again Christian, I’ve known Christ all my life but really accepted him as my Lord and savior just around a month ago. This explains a a lot thank you!

Excellent word. Love it. ❤
How does Christian worship Jesus in the first 1500 years before the Protestant revolution. Do you need to be baptized to be born again?
