Most popular mainstream song, yes. Best verse, obviously not. Best verse Medicine Man followed by Best Friend, 3rd would probably be something off Relapse but there are too many to choose that are good so I’ll just stick with the Album.

@@Len_M. this song isn't just mAiN sTrEam, the rhyme schemes for 3 verses straight are some of the most elite in rap history, with meaningful story and lore. Relapse has some of Em's craziest schemes but with infinitely less meaning than Lose Yourself. i'd give Deja Vu and Beautiful a close jab at it but they don't come close to the writing of Lose Yourself. I think people hear Lose Yourself and blank out because Em is putting ZERO emphasis on anything in particular he's just spitting non-stop but all of it is rhyming like the first verse he pretty much does the entire verse only changing the rhyme scheme once with multi syllable rhymes on each line and there's double entendres everywhere that's why it may be one of his most popular songs but still underrated as one of his best lyrical performances. as she says here (11:36) you take it for granted.

48:20 interesting Salems Lot is about a vampire considering he says "I can't grow old in Salems lot." Condidering vampires literally can't age/grow old. Probably a coincidence, but I thought it was cool.
