Awesome video and super useful. Thanks for taking the time to create such good content with all the details step by step. Little trick to distinguish the the small round LED polarity if the leads are cut, aside from the leads length (long lead lead being the +), if you look underneath the round plastic body of the LED , the side that is not round (cut straight ) indicates the negative lead (-), a little like the LED symbol on the diagrams, the arrow indicates the current flow (+) ----I˃I----- (-)
Do you happen to know the OEM bulb number to order new ones? I can replace the old ones, but I didn’t want to take it out till I have everything. Some of the bigger ones are out too!
I have bulbs burnt out as well but I don't want to do the soldering to put in LED's. Did you happen to identify what exactly the bulbs were? I'd like to have them on hand before dismantling the dash. Thanks!
Thanks for the video. I've been wanting to do this for a while.

Thanks, that is good info to know.
Great job. New project on the horizon for me!!!😊
It made a big difference in night driving.
Those should work on the dimmer too I believe. So when you dim down the lights on your IP it will dim everything together.
I didn't even think about trying that. I am running out right now to see.
The dimming does work.
@@737mechanic cool. :)

FYI the original bulbs are soldered also.
