Yes, I think this is a fair assessment. It has some nice things, such as showers, lockers, quiet areas, outside terrace, but compared with, say, the Air France lounges at CDG (a fair comparison since it is the same company) the food is a bit of a let-down, as you say. All the wooden veneer in the "Dutch Mountain" also gives it bit of IKEA vibes. I could never find a juice machine/station, so always have to ask in the bar to get a glass of OJ. Even their smaller Schengen lounge in the same airport has one of those. And forget about common things like bacon or good sausages with breakfast - I think everything is Halal here...
Thanks for showing us the food they served at the lounge. Too many blogs and vlogs are just showing us the nice aesthetics of the lounge without touching on the KLM's cost-cutting on food. Great video.
Definitely! The food quality has improved at BA Galleries Club lounge recently, and while they used mostly cheap ingredients, the food at BA lounge is not tasteless.
@@KenTravels360 Interesting, I will admit the Ba galleries lounge do do good breakfasts, the full English offering but lunch/dinner offering I found in the past is very poor, didn’t think any other big airline lounge could have been worse than BA! It does look very well decorated though
Yes I couldn’t imagine that either. When I saw how stylish the lounge looked, I was hoping for some good food. Shocking to find it was way worse than the food at BA Galleries Club even!
Was very excited to visit this lounge but felt the food was a terrible let down. Staff close down services such as food and drink well before it closes. In saying that I enjoyed the balcony and also the large quiet room.

Well, I won't visit the Crown Lounge until December, so I can't tell how accurate your description is. I'll probably take some footage myself in the morning hours, before I fly out to Atlanta.

KLM has always been bad on food
I was expecting hundreds and hundreds of cheese types; surprisingly, they settled for just one kind.
