Hey Finn, don't worry about us, we'll be here for you whatever - the most important thing is to look after yourself and do what you need to do to achieve that. Great to see you are OK, just do things at our own speed mate.
Well done Finn, for recognising you needed a break! Remember the reason people watch your videos is because you are doing something that many do not have the skills or the vision needed, also I take inspiration from you for my own watery project. Thank you! Here for the long haul👍
Hiya Finn, just doing a "checkup Charlie" and trusting you have had a great summer taking time for yourself, family and friends, and hope it hasn't been all work, and not least, you have been out on your small yacht lots of time too. We all look forward to seeing you back working on your boat or what you have been up to around the yard, but only in your own good time! 27,600 of us will always be here for you mate!
Welcome back! Rome wasn’t built in a day. Once you are done, sailing will be great for your mental state. I say again what a huge part you played in that he rebuilding of Tally Ho
Holy Cow !!! That rig looks fantastic ! She is going to look so fine when she's in the water and sailing. Like the other commenters, I'm delighted to see you back posting videos. I'm very aware of the stresses that build up trying to get a boat rebuilt as well as carrying on a full-time job and with family commitments having done the same thing on a much smaller boat back in 2015, so, personally, I have no issue whatsoever with your "holiday" from posting. I look forward to seeing how you get on with the rebuild in the coming months.
it just takes as long as it takes.... Stay healthy, rested, fit, don't overwork yourself. It's incredibly difficult to manage such a big project alongside a job, friends, family and personal worries. And congratulations on the opportunity to buy the complete rig. It must feel good to have one less thing to worry about....
1700 plus views and 806 likes - all in 2 hours of posting tells you Finn we all "have your back" wherever life takes you mate, we are just rapt to see you looking well and, on our screens again!
Glad to see you back Finn. The past month or so, I was wondering what became of you. Amazing how life stuff can wade thing up. You say your OK, just make sure you are! We'll all still be hanging around. Cheers from Sequim.
Looking forward to that sailmaking video, Finn! It is SO DIFFICULT to film and do work, and there are folks out here know know what that's all about who are cheering you on. Cheers from Maine, USA.
Hey Finn, I miss Your videos. Can you publish some short videos, easy for you and good for us? I guess some of us want to know, if you are still alright.
Like everyone said...look after yourself, and the work will be done whenever you are ready to do it. The boat isn't going anywhere, and neither are we. All the best.
Finn we missed you! One worries when there is a delay in videos as so many things can happen. Your talent will get you through this build and I'm excited for the journey. Take all the time you need to keep sane, we will be here!
Hi Finn, real life comes first.. You're healthy & safe and that's really all that matters in the grand scheme of things. Take it easy, do what you can when you can or it will become a soul destroying chore and no longer fun for you
we underestimate the work that goes into producing UA-cam content. Andy from Sailing Melody has just gone through a similar experience. Working long hours trying to beat impossible deadlines and putting too much strain on himself, both physically and mentally. Take care.
Finn, no need to apologize. If you said nothing at all, about half of us would just assume we somehow missed your videos or that UA-cam screwed it up. I've been working on restoring my Hallberg-Rassy P28 for about 18 years and by comparison you are rocking along.
Don't worry Finn just glad to see you back well done getting the rigging spars and sails that must be a weight of your mind look forward to next time keeping smiling matey 😊😊
Hey Finn! Don't worry about a thing! Life sure does get in the way doesn't it? I have so many projects I'm working on over here in Atlanta Ga..then stupid work gets in the way. Good to see you and hear from you. Your boat is gonna be great!
Happy to see you back! It is most important that you keep yourself healthy and enjoy this work. I also appreciate that you show the hard combination of a normal life, meaning earning money, doing this big restauration of the boat and on top recording, editing, rediting … and so on. I do nothing comparable of such complexity and size. I already get upset forgetting the hammer when I arrived in the 2nd floor or dropping a screw while being on a ladder and holding everything in place. It is great what you do and I also enjoy your style much! Do things at your pace, its certainly the right pace for me to follow and lightspeed faster than me trying it.
Look after yourself, after all your health and well being are the most important thing that should be at your utmost priority. Don't feel obligated to anything other than your health. Cheers!!!
Nice to see you again, i thought you was gone forever and was so glad to see you post this video. Welcome back and im looking forward for your videos ahead. Regards Martin
Great to hear from you again Finn!! Yep, chronic work overload is a real killer. Standing back to reassess and regroup is a difficult decision but I'm sure you are better off for the away time. In the mean time obviously you've not been sitting back: great progress on the cap rails and tankage etc. Well bought on the standing rigging - others clearly have a larger "cash kitty" than you do. A decent 2nd hand set is more than adequate. Nice to have you back and looking out for the next bit of content. Best of luck mate!!!
Fantastic Finn' what a huge leap fwd to have your rig spars, rigging and sails! Must have cost a pretty penny = your labor to pay for it. Enjoy some summer yummy Uk beers 😉👍
Ah, there you are, Finn. Good to have you back. Your poch was hilarious as you tried to explain what's been going on. Worth the watch, just for that. I think they stole the show, Sir. Thanks for sharing. :-)
And take your time - make sure your life comes before our fun little boat building entertainment 😜 We'll be here awaiting when you're back in the saddle again ❤️
Great work Finn. I can empathise very well, it’s so hard to bring work, personal life and boatbuilding together. I‘m doing this since 3 years 😅. Courage! 👍🏾
Hi Finn, your dog's eating your boat!! It's really great to see you again and, judging by the huge number of comments by your followers, you don't need to worry about us. We've got your back. 😂
Great to see your still alive and well. Just take your time and don't worry about us lot. It's great to see your progress but your mental wellbeing and life must come first. Take care.
Nice to see you back fella... looking forward to seeing your vessel continuing to take shape even if it's at a slower pace than you might like. My first ever attempt at public speaking was a presentation to my P5 class (48 years ago) about... drum roll.... ferro cement yachts!! My dad who was an engineer was delighted (he was a sailor too) but my class mates and teachers in my landlocked home town were slightly bemused...! Concrete that floats? Surely not...
We're still here and still interested in your project. Move at a pace that's comfortable for you. We'll be patient and will look forward to future videos as they happen. Thanks for the update. God bless.
Finn, been wondering what you have been up to, figured you were either working extra so you can have more funds for your boat or that life had just gotten in the way as it often does. Glad to hear from you and I really love your project especially when it's the only major ferrocement sailboat channel around.. you ever checked out a boat by the river, they're building a pretty cool sailboat also that's designed much like yours only they're using the cold molded way for construction.. they're a small channel on one of the islands of New Zealand I believe.. take care of yourself and your dog. You will look back on your younger life remembering when things were simple and you were single and you will smile about this period in your life..
Hey Finn, don't worry about us, we'll be here for you whatever - the most important thing is to look after yourself and do what you need to do to achieve that. Great to see you are OK, just do things at our own speed mate.
What he said.
While you talk the dog is building the boat…👍
Er, did you say building..?
Well done Finn, for recognising you needed a break! Remember the reason people watch your videos is because you are doing something that many do not have the skills or the vision needed, also I take inspiration from you for my own watery project. Thank you! Here for the long haul👍
You take your time mate...the last thing we want is to see you burn out. What a score on the rigging etc...well done!

To be fair my conservatory wasn't built in a day, and I don't know how that compares to Rome...
Good to see you Finn

Finn you talked perfect sense in looking after yourself glad to see that you are getting better and not losing interest in the boat.
Your dog wanted to show us the fuel tank dip stick. Clever dog.

Hang in there Finn, we will be with you the whole way. The only important time line is your own.
Right on, Finn. Been following you since Tally Ho. I’m here for the journey, no matter how long that takes 🤙
No worries bro welcome back, we’re watching at your pace.
Thanks for the update, we all appreciate the work you are putting in to bring us along. Wow the rig is a huge bonus !

Good to hear from you! Life is to short to make a good part of it miserable. Take care of yourself, and the rest will fall in line.

Good to see you .
Great to have you back Finn, Probably about 2 years then? ! 😅
I’d say 😂
Delighted you are back. I was very worried. Take any breaks you need to. Your mental health is more important than my UA-cam viewing.
Just great to see you again.
To be honest, I was starting to get a little worried about you. Glad to see you're cranking things up again :)
Worth the wait!
Great to see your still alive and well. Just take your time and don't worry about us lot. It's great to see your progress but your mental wellbeing and life must come first. Take care.
