Sorry for delay this just turned up. Cricket bat rubbers of eBay. Cut in half to open up and I cut out 4 from a grip. Cut hole in rubber for reel foot to fit snugly with rounded corners so it don’t tear. Last ages and grips when wet.

@@VernsSeaFishing The Flounder love Prawns and set one rod up with a 2 hook flapper with Prawn and they seem to like the top end rather than the tail and cut them in half but not much good if loads of Crabs around. I always set the other rod up with a single hook rig and a bigger bait and hopefully something bigger will come along. Hope this winter is better for Cod than last winter but not had a sniff of one yet. Good luck on your next session and tight lines mate
