Bro Same. Luis has inspired me so much to keep skating and I’m no where near good at skating but he inspired me to not give up. I’ve always been into anime and Japan and he was like the perfect UA-camr for me. I really really want to get into filming because of Luis. He’s my biggest inspiration. 😁

Honestly, seeing this documentary just makes me have so much more respect with Luis since he goes more in-depth about the behind the scenes of Erased and his life in general. Found out about Luis through Lamont Holt and a bunch of other Cali UA-cam Skaters back in 2015/2016 (I knew I was about 15/16). Clicked that subscribe button for his channel and never regretted it since.
"I you're just going to follow what everyone is doing, you're just creating a replica of what's already existing." I learned another lesson that's not taught in school. Thank you so much for making this documentary. It started like you're telling Luis's story, and then you finished it sharing us a lot of life lessons we cannlearn from your subject and the people around him.
Now I have annidea why it's comforting to watch skaters gathering even though I'm not even a skater. Luis surrounded himself with good people and extremely artistic people. I can only imagine how long it takes to master one trich until you can finally showbit in camera. Yet, you guys still have time to film everything. Keep going. You already know you're doing well when you're inspiring people with what you do.
His reason for loving the skate community, is my same reason. It can be such a tight nit community. I went to Brooklyn last weekend and once I got there I looked up local skate park, and I got there and it’s this tiny skate park that doesn’t even have much for it, and when I got there dudes were cementing the ground, and working on it to clean it up. So I shylee skated around them, just cause I wasn’t from there, so I was a bit nervous. Btw I’m like a begnniner skater, only thing I know how to do is cruise around and now barely Ollie. But besides the point as I skated more, I got to meet some of the guys skating and working on the ground. And they told me that they basically built it, and are maintaining it. They sent letters to the city and they weren’t any help. So it was just nice to see them take initiative and make their park better for them, and just how warm and friendly they were. Some gave me tips and ideas to try to make my skating better. So yea sorry about the rant and run on sentences, but I deff get a lot of joy watching Luis and all his friends skate around and have a good time!

自分の主義がちゃんとあるってカッコイイと思う。そしてそれをちゃんと語れるのは素晴らしいと思う。
今古着屋をやっていて自分に本当に合っているのか自分のしたいことは本当に今の生活なのかを考えながら仕事をしてたけど、ルイスの生き方に賛成するしかないくらいかっこいいと思いました。
素晴らしい動画。スケボーに限らず人生全てに応用できる。

항상 잘 보고 있습니다. 초등학교때 스케이트르보드를 잠깐 했다가 포기했었는데, 작년에 루이스의 영상을 보고 갑자기 다시 시작하고 싶어져서 스케이트보드를 싰고 열심히 타고 있습니다. 시몬이나 카츠야의 영상도 많은 도움이 되었습니다. 루이스, 타쿠야, 쿄노스케, 시몬 그리고 모두 행복해 보이니 저도 행복해요~

いつもよく見ています。 小学校の時スケートボードをちょっとして諦めてたんですが、去年ルイスの映像を見て急にやりたくなってスケートボードを履いて一生懸命乗っています。 シモンやカツヤの映像も大変助かりました。 ルイス,タクヤ,キノスケ,シモンそして皆幸せそうで私も幸せです~

A historia de superação do Luís é muito incrivel, é como se tudo fosse conectado pelo destino, tenho uma inspiração muito grande pela comunidade erased, E é tão grastificante vc chegar em um lugar que tu não conhece ninguém e chegar um mano do nada chamando e falando "bora andar de skate?" é isso cara, a comunidade do skate é incrível e se apoiando sempre é sinônimo de superação e quebra de limites. POR FAVOR TRAZ A ERASED PARA O BRASILLLLL🇧🇷
Cara conheci o canal do Luis em 2021 e fiquei viciado era 2:00 da manhã e eu fiquei assistindo os videos dele sem parar por que ele foi diferente em conteudo com skate e mostrando o seu dia com os amigos, é muito bom e espero que ele tenha muita visibilidade por que ele merece o trabalho dele é foda demais.
"He gives up what he's bad at and gives his all to what he's good at." Another life lesson. Ken don't usually get much screan time either since he's behind the camera. I only see him tellibg sarcastic jokes and such, but he's quite expressive. And also this is the longest time I've watched him speak Japanese completely.

I always knew there was something different about luis when I first saw him in Lamont’s channel. His filming, his personality and most importantly his passion. So proud to see how far he’s come up from when he started. Love this dude to death
not gonna lie, luis was the first skate channel I came across even before i started skating and those skate edits were what really inspired me to pick up skatebaording.

Quando comecei a andar de skate e consumir conteúdos no you tube, eu não via uma edição tão rebuscada nos canais, e ficava imaginando criar um canal com uma edição bem trabalhada. Até que em 2018 eu conheci o canal dele, me lembro que eu assisti todos os vídeos em 1 dia praticamente kkkkkkkkkkk. Cara eu tava viciado no conteúdo desse bicho, muito foda. Espero que eu fique muito bom nas minhas edições como ele 🙏🏻
Sim mano, eu conheci o canal dele em 2019 mas eu tbm fiquei viciado no conteúdo que ele produz. Assistia vários vídeos por dia e quando eu botei todos os vídeos em dia eu assisti dnv. Eu me inspiro muito no Luis e no pessoal que anda com ele, e espero um dia andar no nível deles e talvez algum dia conhecer ele e a galera que ele anda.

Luis has a knack for story-telling. I don't skate but I recall watching his videos without knowing it was his videos but his style was very consistent. The story-telling kept me going afterwards. Man has talent. He should do more videos around the culture of skateboarding.
