I want to apologize to you all for the loss of audio in the hand crank clip at the end. I hope you all enjoyed the video regardless. Thank you for watching.
Great survivor, thanks for getting her up n running
Awesome stuff 👏 👌. Much respect from Texas.
That’s a beautiful old truck well kept up . Must have mostly been for show since you did so much to get her running. I noticed how clean it was underneath the truck. When I was a firman many years ago we used to have to kerosene the truck and that ment getting some old rags some kerosene and clean everything underneath the truck, mostly it was to make us look like we were buissy lol 😆. Really nice to see father and so together on a project. I’m sure it’ll make a nice addition to any parade it’s in.
Old school fire power fer putting out fires 🔥 in the olden days
This was fun to watch and reminds me when I was a youngster in the '60's! 👍

I've been threw Davenport Florida a few time and didn't realize it.
Got family in springhill above tampa.
Grandparents used to spend the winter in Arcadia south of you'll.
Good job on getting this ol girl going.
Bought a 1929 Chevrolet coach awhile back and understand the enjoyment working on these old style vehicles.
If I'm not mistaken American La France keeps all records for their trucks. Contact them and they should be able to get you the full specs for the build.
You guya are doing a good job on that American La France Fire Engine Motor. You are going throught the systems that make the motor run systamatically. That is always a wise choice, as you know that worked. Keep going slowly and methodically and that will help yoooou find success. Good Luck Guys, and keep up the quality work you are doing.
Great Job I enjoy the video greetings from Holland
Hello from Siesta Key Florida

Is that an Auburn engine?
You do realize they were only 6 Volts back then
It was converted to 12v in the 80s or 90s
Great job guys! Friend of mine I was "on the job" with owns a 1928 ALF, chain-drive, with the steering column on the right. She's been in storage for years and not running at the present time. Send me your email address and I'll gladly send a couple of pics of her.
