Every time I watch your videos I keep thinking "Wish I'd thought of that". This mission by reputation can be fun to get your head round as it's all about what should be prioritised. There was so much I'd forgotten about this mission when I tried it earlier on. Lol I'd squandered all my resources and had to resort to using the 2nd Island overseas. I eventually wrecked both bases but undoubtedly with more effort than necessary :D
The ships in this game are so dumb. I tell one Destroyer to attack Tesla from a safe distance. Cool, it works, but the enemy heals the Tesla equally fast. So I'll order another Destroyer to shoot it. The Destroyer be like "Naaah, lemme just cruise right next to it..."
Since remastered seems to have made you active and responsive here, I've been meaning to ask a dedicated player about this mission. Do you know what the triggers are, which govern the Command Center + CY base on the eastern half of the map? Sometimes it never awakens, other times it awakens. Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to know how to wake it up at my choosing, so it could fight against my landing, and not go dormant.
@@NJohnGA10 I think it might become active after an hour (in terms of the timer). I didn't do anything to it either but within the hour they started building things there.

Light tanks are faster and do more damage, but have less HP and range. Both tanks are good depending on the situation. I like medium better for large armies, and light tanks for small armies.

Therefore, to really kick ass as an Allied player, you spam Light Tanks. They be like Glorious Stalin promised us that our tanks would be superior to any allied tank threat. Fails to mention that although individually are inferior to soviet armour there is just so dam many of them that they swarm us. Damn you Stalin for failing to see or mention this oversight !.
You want at least one per harvester near a particular ore field, otherwise when three trucks finish and go to drop off, one will go to the nearby one and the other two will drive across the base to the nearest un-targeted refinery, which is a waste of time. Harvesters are not smart and will not wait in line for their nearest refinery, even if that'd be quicker than driving across half the map for whichever one is free the moment they're full.

I think it starts up when you land on the island. Maybe when you attack it, as well.

Stu Thanks for the reply. I’ve never knew light tanks do more damage. It’s been so long, the only experience was the Win95 RA.
Lights are sort of like little glass-cannons relative to mediums.
Also they can only throw jabs (short range.)

Does clicking on the same enemy to attack multiple times fix some sort of pathing issue or do you just have ADHD or something?
