This is a review of the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar Regatta Buffet in Nassau Bahama for July 9-16 2018 and let me tell you this was the BEST buffet if not one of the BEST buffet's I've ever had including 100's of other buffet's over the decades in Vegas and including the Sterling Brunch Buffet at Bally's Las Vegas which is known to be the best buffet on the planet my many at $95 yet this one here at Baha Mar was only $54 and had similar if not better selection than that one and you can see that one in another one of my videos that I uploaded last year here on my channel. Worth every penny this is how buffet should be!
I also came up a winner this week at the casino and won $3300 at the Craps table and because I played for a while they comped me $690 off my total food bill which was about $1260 for the entire week for 2 people less the $690 I only paid $570 for gourmet food! Plus I am now invited to stay for FREE any other week I decide to go with an upgraded room! HELL YEAH!! I only paid about $1100 USD a person for flight and hotel which is AMAZING at this resort!

Looks great but not sure the price is worth it.
I’m considering a trip there in October but the food prices are concerning. That’s close to $200 a night for 3. Do you know if they charge full price for toddlers?
There are many restaurants there that are average in price so yes affordable for everyone like 3 tides for example and the swimming pig one called Stix where they have amazing Pad Thai another one is called Filia by Michael Schwartz who is a celebrity chef and very reasonable pricing too, pasta is awesome there and another one called flame to smoke bbq I find all these are pretty reasonable not expensive and great tasting food prices similar to a Boston Pizza as an example. As far as kids I don't know if prices are cheaper but I think they have a kid's menu in some of these. There's also the buffet restaurant with absolutely the best seafood amongst other great tasting food and I mean tasting cause many buffet's food are bland.
Just the day food and drinks by the beach they nab you on, that's pretty expensive but dinner food is much more reasonable. I went there twice last year and going there again for 2 weeks in 5 days. You'll love it too
If I chose to go to the Atlantis it was 3 times as expensive and if I chose to go to let's say the all inclusive hotel that's beside the Baha Mar called The Melia that one was priced at $4600 per person for the week all inclusive but the Baha Mar was $1475 with no food per person for the week so there's NO WAY you'll eat $3000 per person more! This Baha Mar is way cheaper even after you eat all you want and the Melia doesn't hold a candle to the Baha Mar I have that on video too and the steakhouse there is not included in the all inclusive you have to pay each time you eat there. I did a walk-around on the Melia while staying at the Baha Mar here it is

Chris Dallas Dualped thanks for the detailed response. For October 4-12 prices are very cheap. Hyatt $766, SLS $948 and Melia $1066. I haven’t seen your Melia video yet but it looks like the other two are on a different league although at these prices and for $1066 all inclusive it sure seems appealing. Have you been to Bermuda by any chance? Considering that too.
@@BarcadeArcade I have been there but over 30 years ago it was nice at that time but I cannot recommend it for today's travel as everything now has changed I'm sure there are others on UA-cam that have provided updated info. October is also hurricane season and fewer people travel so yes prices are dirt cheap.. Even at those prices I'd still pick the Baha Mar because the grounds alone the 11 swimming pools the cleanliness and the lack of mildew smell because the Melia has a bad mildew smell (at the pool and around) it's an old resort can't avoid that as it ages it's an easy decision for me.. They have however renovated the inside of the Melia and looks better than the outside.. Plus the food from what I've read at the Melia is pretty bland according to many on TripAdvisor don't just read the 4 and 5 star ratings read the ones that people have given it a 1 and 2 stars rating to get a better idea of what these resorts are like.
