- During week 7 - 2022 - we visited Paris and the surrounding areas for a week. We finally got around to posting. We had a great time at both Château de Chantilly and Paris.

I liked that Bond movie a heck of alot more than the recent ones. This, at least had a storyline and beautiful scenery, the new Daniel Craig movies are nothing more than a action movie with no soul to it. Although not being original, I’ve always wanted to see that castle, it’s so pretty. France has a better approach to their historical heritage than we do in Denmark, and rebuilding this castle is a great example of that.
AT least "A view to a kill" has a great Sound track ;-)
about sickness : in case you didnt know there is the normal flu.. and then the very vicious Man-flu that feels much worse
Incredible how rich the few were back then.. What surprises me when i see Versailles is that they didn’t have toilets 😮 They just did it in the hallways or where ever

Me and my daughter visited Disneyland Paris for the first time, in the summer of 2022. was amazing. My daughters mother had tried the Space Mountain atraction in Florida, and told my daughter on the phone, that it wasnt that wild..... well apparently the Paris version have loops and corkscrews... :o well.. lets say we pushed our limits on rolercoasters, and ended up linking them all... especially the Avengers Flight Force. We also really wanted to eat at Chez Remy, but unfortunately you had to book a month in advance in the summertime.
I came home from a trip to Spain about a week ago, and I'm happy to report that we didn't have to wear masks on the plane or the airport or anywhere else for that matter. The mask mandate on public transport in Barcelona had also been lifted just the day before we arrived. By now there can't be many places left in Europe with any mandates still in place.
That is good! I was in Barca in mid January when I needed a mask on the flight.
I have not see You guys go to South Germany yet!!
You probably already know about Schloss Neuschwanstein??!
It is close to the border of Austria south of München and it is the basis of Disney's famous castle You see before every Disney film!!
You should visit now Maya is such a Disney fan!!?

Hey! We’ve been to Neuschwanstein a number of years ago, well before the channel existed. I’ve actually been twice, so probably won’t be back again for a while. It is gorgeous though!
They have some amazing castles in Germany. If You like historic places Wien (Vienna) is a very beautiful city!@@TravelinYoung
This should prove without any doubt that the Aristocracy likes gold and gold paint. Too bad that Denis Villeneuve forgot that when he made the Dune movie, where all the rich families live in empty halls and bunkers, but I guess that's a bit off topic 🤔.

At least Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan had a sense of humor. Daniel Craig is way to serious and grumpy.
2:26 - That's an old (and cheap) film camera. Was Maya taking photography classes at the time? Or just fascinated by the old-school tech?
Yeah, that’s a super old canon I got back in 2000ish. She was fascinated with taking photos on b/w film.
So Maya, which languages are you learning in school?
This year she’s in English, Danish and Spanish. Next year, I believe she’ll have English, Danish, Spanish, and Latin!
