I've had the pleasure of being taught by Mr Secours. I've seen it all (well, a lot), and he's the real deal. It's pretty cool that he's putting out these materials for free. Thanks Kevin!
Thanks. Yes I realize I misspoke about Spain. Thanks for the correction. I always blank on Argentina for some reason. Unlike Loche, I have been hit in the head a lot. Lol.
I was just thinking to investigate about that topic as I want to teach it to my nephew and there it appeared! Gonna look out for a Nicolino Loche vidéo...
I think, I'll need to invest that kind of rolled mat. I also thought, that dodging/parrying/evading drills are maybe a bit clearer for a beginner trained with stick than with hand. But with stick there is still more accidental risks. Rolled mat seems fantastic tool. You have enough speed to be realistic with zero chance for serious injury. Changes on distance and reaction times seem quite adaptable on that.
Great video Kevin! Why does some people have the tendency to turn around and around like he did starting at 6:18? I always go in circles and I hate it. I know I have to stay away from the cross 'power' strike, but in the end Im just dizzy and its infuriating, I dont know if its good or bad. Always the best, thank you.
They circle out for exactly that reason-to stay away from the power hand. It shouldn’t be the only thing you do however. Add going in and out, up and down and punctuate it by circling inside too, but remember when you circle inwards that’s you want to go close and smother or step back and out of range to bait. Don’t just step across into their ideal punching range. Check out my trailer for cross zoning
Kevin Secours ah, see I thought that at first but then thought maybe there was another complex technical reason and I’m just stupid 😂🤣. Out of interest, did you ever train in ROSS ?

We're the inverse. We try to monitor the jab to ensure we stay outside the perimeter and make all other punches much more telegraphic. For haymakers, Renovated Boxing 1 addresses the fundamentals of the jab, cross, hook treatments--for us, shield and enter. The Street Proof Camp goes into a lot of detail about the reality of the sucker punch, the four fundamental responses, dealing with and cultivating aggression, counter striking. That one is much more pressure tested and raw and reality base. Reno 1 is much more mechanical and drill oriented.
@@Combatprofessor Will check them out. You know I love your stuff KS, very thorough. For me, the grab or push type index tends to replace the jab in street encounters which is why I say, I don't worry about it. As a boxer, I know how I deal with it but I love the way you workshop things.

Very good video!!!!
As a side note Nicolino Loche was a boxer from Argentina, it was beautiful to see him in action

Kevin Secours I enjoy a lot your videos
Thank you for watching.
You’re such a phenomenal teacher Kevin.
Thanks Robert. I appreciate you watching.

Check out my trailer for mobility level 1 and 2. There are some great trunk and spine ideas in there.

@@Combatprofessor Understood, I will check it out, thank you.
"Wash the scalp!"😉👍 nothing like the point of an elbow dead center on a knuckle, even with boxing gloves on, to get your attention!🤣👍
Agreed
How come you’re aiming for the shoulder and not the head Kevin?
It’s s first step to make it easier to allow people to build confidence

Nabil Abdulrashid no nothing more than that :)
Kevin Secours do you have any material that can be delivered to the uk? And do you have any affiliates here or ever do seminars?

Good work, as always. I don't worry so much about the jab, I worry more about the haymaker right. Do you cover this in your camp?
