Seed bead earrings tutorial for beginners, brick stitch and beaded fringe-pendants, diy earrings

- Step by step instructions for bead earrings. In this video, we will make boho beaded earrings with fringe-pendants. Beaded thread will need approximately 1.8 m, about 1 m for the top of the earring and about 80 cm for beaded pendants. I used Czech seed beads number 10, three colors, you can use other beads of any other colors - the result will always please you). The only thing is, I do not advise using Chinese beads - it is not even and the earrings turn out to be crooked. Czech beads number 10 and Toho beads number 11 are the most suitable types of glass beads for the best result and wonderful earrings!

That's a very interesting way you started the second row with 4 beads , & got them to lay down perfectally, love that. Never seen that way used before.

Thank you so much for sharing! I've made two pairs so far, but when i put them on, the brick stitch portion tends to curl in on itself. Do you know what I might be doing or using that would cause that? My materials were 8/0 Czech beads (these were the most consistently sized I had) and bonded nylon beading thread. I definitely tried not to pull too hard or leave things too loose, but I'm not sure how successful I was. They look great, though. No gaps or cinching that I can see.

Hello. I think that the problem is in the mismatch of beads and thread. The thread is too thin for number 8 beads. I always recommend thin bead thread, but only for number 11 beads. You have large beads, the thread is not able to hold them. Since you have already learned how to make this type of earrings, when you buy Toho beads or Delica beads number 11 (they are 2 mm in size), you will get earrings that are much smaller and much more stable. If, nevertheless, the earrings are twisted, then you can use a fixative, for example, varnish to cover watercolor paintings, the varnish should be transparent. As a special fixative for beads, you can buy Protecta Clear. I also advise you to watch this video from Jill, I think a lot will become clearer). Las cuentas Delica no son exactamente buenas para usar con principiantes, las cuentas Toho número 11 son las mejores. ¡Buena suerte!

Hello. I use polyester beading thread with diameter 0.10 mm. Any beading thread is suitable, the main thing is in diameter of thread, it must be 0.10-0.15 mm. if the thread is thicker, then the first rows of beads will burst when adding pendants

Love your beadwork and tutorials😍. But somehow, I just can't seem to tighten the thread😞! I've watched and I've tried over and over. I have to be doing something wrong.

Thank you. you mean you can't tighten the thread when you make pendants? the first pendant- dial 36 beads per thread. insert the needle into two beads of the first row of the triangle. pull the thread completely. you can put your work on the table so that the pendant ( fringe) does not pull down the thread and does not pull it out under load. then insert the needle into the nearby column, collect 30 beads, insert the needle in the opposite direction and now the first pendant will be fixed, and the second can still be pulled down under load, do not be afraid to tighten the thread. again put the earring on the table so that the thread does not stretch under load and proceed further.
