your point is valid however we cannot consider IPO launch price as a reference point because companies generally launch IPO with higher share price

Akahat jab aap Whirlpool ki story explian kar rahe the. Tab mai reverse hypothesis kiya tha consumer durable and mai yahi conclusion mai nikla tha ki Consumer Durable stock is not good choice right now.
But mere ko hamesha ye lagta tha ki mai galat soch raha hu. Akshat mujhse se bade investor hai unka analysis jyada sahi hoga..
But aaj mere ko apne aap mai confidence aa gaya ki mai sahi analysis kar raha hai....

Hello, I had invested ( you can call it ignorance) 2L to a Lic policy for 15 yrs which also a kind of term insurance as well. The policy will mature 8 yrs from now and maturity amount is 5L + loyalty bonus( not sure of this). So if I surrender thus for which I'll get 2.74L will that be good decision if I invest that amount to share market?
