Yea I keep the boxes so I have 17 of them. Now I got the M4Pro for work purposes and also study for Master, since I am a Media Designer UX-UI and developer. Many people are getting the M4 Pro as I saw which is made for graphics and not daily life basic studies or searches. I tell people which model they shall get based on what they will do.
Right now I have a MacBook Air early 2020 intel i5 / 8 GB RAM / 256 GB SSD. I bought it when It came out for simple school tasks and all the online classes needs I had. During quarantine I started coding and as of now I code in Swift with Xcode (iOS apps) and in Dart/Flutter. To be honest, my MacBook has done a really good job, but a new and more powerful machine is what I need now (additionally, I'm entering college next year and might study software engineering or other similar career). I was waiting for the M4 MacBooks to come out but now I'm not sure which model I should buy. I was thinking about the base model with 1 TB storage upgrade, but I've seen lots of reviews saying that the M4 Pro is the best price/quality option; additionally, it may suit better my requirements. In my country, the difference is of around $500 USD (consider 1 TB for both), which I'm not sure if I should pay. Also, I'm thinking of getting the new nano-texture display upgrade. Could anybody give me any suggestions?
if this is the case for you, i'd recommend the base model 13 inch or 15 inch (whatever your preference is), and upgrade the RAM to 24gb. you'll be under the base model macbook pro, for either one, and although the ram isn't needed, maybe in the future you may do some sort of tasks that may need the extra ram, and it will greatly help to have the extra. (may seem overkill now, but you'll thank yourself later on for getting that.) also, if you get the 13 inch, i'd say get the 512 gb, because i have a macbook pro 2020 13' and i hate the 256. im not even an editor, but still 256 is not enough for me.
I know the feeling my MacBook Pro is from 2014 . I’m still saving up for a new one. Congrats very nice. 🥳🥳
Thank you! Also, love that yesssss!!!
I just ordered one. Can't wait to get it!

Yay!! Congrats! I am finally retiring my 2013 Macbook Pro. I just ordered one, so excited!!
So pretty! I can’t wait for you to edit now and how smooth it’ll be 😻🥰
Yess!! I'm loving it
so glad to see people getting the standard screen variants instead of the nano texture
Why do you say so? Is the nano texture not good?
@@arijit020its fine for photo and video editors. They’re complaining for nothing
nano texture is worth it , u gotta see it in person to understand
@ switching from my 2012 pre retina model.. big jump :-).. I still gonna use my old MacBook Pro
I don’t like the matte finish. It isn’t as high contrast and clean clear as the glossy.
I have mine for 3 weeks now and have found 1 small scratch on the screen.. I didn’t even touch it. 😢 Have you found any scratches on yours as yet?
Do you think the m4 pro model is worth the $400 more than the base?
Unless you need to edit in 5k or 8k, no.
Congraatsss💕
Good vlog…and congrats for new MacBook Pro… 👍

So your title says M4 Pro MacBook Pro. With 16gb memory this is the standard entry level m4 MacBook Pro. Still a very nice machine. Congrats
How does the notch feel? Does it stick out as much as i think it does?? Seems very distracting.
@@AA-nj2ni for me not at all! Maybe I’m used to my phone having a notch lol I don’t even pay attention to it
Just coming from your iPhone 14 pro unboxing 🎉😅
Hey! Great video. Could you help out with why you decided to go with M4 base macbook pro instead of M4 pro macbook pro?
Hi! Thank you so much, honestly I didn't even know there was a base a model lol!
@@ItsRissayeah it makes your video title wrong as a heads up
thanks for video :)
Ofc ! Thank you for watching !!
🔥
I want an M4 MacBook Pro too 😭😭
Is it awkwardly thick?

Sounds like my dad.
You’re truly a good and bad influence because I want one so bad rn and just convinced myself NOT to get it
HAHA😭💕
im so torn between this exact MacBook or the MacBook Air m3 15 inch.... all I do is Netflix, streams and some trading help? xd

how your trading going?
For your use case, Macbook Air should be great choice.

@@austintmrw 24 gigs a lot of apple ram memory, only a heavy video editor or alpha level multi tasking can require that kind of memory
You have pretty fingers ...
Yeahhhhhhh
