Brother, prophecy says His MOTHER will call his NAME Immanuel.. and Mary never called his NAME Immanuel..
And even more - emanuel meams "god is with us" or something like that. Christians claim this name/title for jesus, while he was killed on the cross while during he said " my god why you have FORSAKEN ME?"
God forsaked His son Jesus for our behalf for our sins Jesus was crucified so that he Could be the sacrifice, think what God will do at the time of Jusdgement.
Jesus was on Earth. GOD on earth done. Nothing to think More.

The following is better than ever mentioning even one verse of the bible ever. Allah protect us from losing our i'slam.

Brother or someone from the comments. Please answer this question about atheism. I have been learning to give dawah from different sources and this ques to on has been so hard for me to find an answer. The question is
1) we who believe in god give various evidences of god for example the dependency argument. That every thing is dependent and we can’t have an infinite chain of dependent beings. There has to be an independent being which is god. But what if there can be an infinite chain because the universe is so vast and large. Maybe we can’t comprehend it in a human brain as we don’t know much about it. What if the universe came without god and the evidences we are giving aren’t valid with the universe because it is different.

Christianity is corrupt and changed ,unfortunately. Allah in his mercy revealed scriptures via angel Gabriel (as)to prophet Muhammad (sal) almost 600 yrs later. There is definitely a reason. In my opinion the early scripture has expired n irrelevant

Jesus never had to be named Emanuel simple because he's was it. A Muslim did make condition to what Christianity teaches.

1) Bible literally says in Matthew 1:23
“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, And they shall call his name Emmanuel.”
Literally the verse says “they shall call his name Emmanuel”
So doesn’t matter how much mental gymnastic one plays, this prophecy has remained unfulfilled
2) even to say he was ‘God with us’ in meaning, then even that wasn’t ever referred to him through out the Gospels, no one called him ‘God with us’, so even this poor attempt of ‘meaning’ implied is also unfulfilled :)
Try another time
Jesus was EMMANUEL ( God with us) because Jesus is God. He said " I and the Father are one" (John 10:30). Jesus also said " Whoever has seen me has seen the Father”(John 14:9)

The prophecy remains unfulfilled
The key to understand this passage starts in verse 6:
“Let us go up against Judah and trouble it, and let us make a gap in its wall for ourselves, and ❗️set a king over them, the son of Tabel”- 7 thus says the Lord God:
“It shall not stand,
Nor shall it come to pass.❗️
The king of Israel and Syria wanted to set another king on throne of Judah, BUT this throne is intended for the descendants and finally THE Son of David: The King Messiah!
That’s why the Lord God responded:
“It shall not stand,
Nor shall it come to pass.
And than the sign follows: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”
1. Muslims agree that Jesus is The Messiah (why 🤷🏼♂️)
2. Muslims agree that Jesus was born from a virgin (alma can also be a virgin)
3. Christians know that Jesus is: Immanuel => God with us
That’s why this prophecy is about Jesus.
1. Allah said so.
2. Alma cannot also be virgin.
3. Christians are mistaken.
Why waste your time on chasing shadows in the bible? The Qur'an was revealed to give guidance to mankind. The Torah is not the one brought from Allah to Musa, so why waste your time trying to harmonise the bible with the Qur'an as if you can't accept the Qur'an without confirmation from the bible?
The bible will only lead you down rabbit holes that lead to nowhere
Sir, The Holy Bible is the WORD of God. Jesus was the ONLY TRUE messenger of God who is God himself, at the same time. Jesus(who is God) is Emmanuel- meaning God with us, because he came from heaven and lived among us for 30-odd years here on Earth !! is that CLEAR?
@@99chartered No, it's nonsense. Pauline Christianity tries to retrospectively place jesus in the old testament whilst rejecting the old testament. There's plenty of evidence that Paul was a total crackpot . The jesus movement had nothing to do with Paul or his teaching and actively taught that he was misguided. The fact that he never met jesus personally doesn't help.

The old testament is not factual history it's a compilation of writings by at least 4 different authors and unless you can produce the original source material, which nobody has, you can't claim it to be. I'm assuming you can read Hebrew and Aramaic? I'm assuming you understand the Yahwist, Elohist, Priestly and deuteronomic styles found within?
I'm assuming you understand the schism of Arius and Athanasius regarding the substance of Jesus?
I have no faith in the OT or NT, my guidance comes from the Qur'an. There will be parts of the OT that are true but just as I wouldn't drink spring water laced with arsenic, I won't rely on the OT for moral guidance.
Do good on the Earth and do not spread corruption or associate partners with Allah

What a fail. In the quran mary father name is imran. And in the bible the moses and his brother aron and sister miriam father is amram. The quran got it totally mixed up with mary and moses sister.
The Quran didn't get it wrong because you don't know how the naming system works with the Arabs. What Quran is saying by using that analogy, is to demonstrate the fact that she is a descendant from them.
Another example is, in Saudi Arabia, if you don't know a strangers name, you can refer to them by calling them "Muhammad". Doesn't mean we are calling him a prophet? No, of course not.

In the bible Jesus mother Mary father is not imran and brother is not aron. The quran mixed them up. Because in the bible moses and aron also Have a sister named Myriam. Big mistake

In Arabic language and culture people are called/reprimanded/reminded by names of their pious predecessors, righteous people and prophets
Mother Mary as a descendant of Aaron was correctly referred in the Quran as ‘sister of Aaron’ where it meant ‘descendant of Aaron’.
This is very similar to how Jesus is called SON of David in Matthew 1:1 where as in Like 3:23 Jesus is referred as SON of Joseph!!!
But natural, any Christian would say here SON refers to descendant - that’s following Quranic style of referring to people :)

" In the beginning was the WORD, the Word was with God in the beginning, the WORD WAS GOD”… “The WORD became flesh and came and dwelt among us” (John 1:14).
