Brave is NOT based. It uses Chromium and perpetuates Google Chrome dominance over the browser market.
Not really. It's using an open source project, and can easily fully branch off at any time. Chrome ≠ chromium

twitch ads are part of the video, they can't be blocked.
Unless they do something else to stream on mobile, I use the "Xtra" client to stream twitch on android and it never gets ads.
