I was reading all of the actual terms and conditions and there is some stuff where it says that you have to agree to do at least 100 rides in order to keep it for free and if you don’t then they may want you to return it and you’re responsible for the cost of returning it. Also it’s free unless you quit driving…then it must be returned if you will get charged for it. So it’s technically not completely free. I like the idea of it especially since they can play the games for free and it’s a nice offering to people… Especially kids if you are in the car with your kid… But people who aren’t going to drive on a regular basis probably shouldn’t get this. Just my thought.
They get a cut of the ad revenue. In between every game that the passenger plays there is an ad, and the driver and Play Octopus split the money that the advertisers pay. I really have experienced no downside, it's really easy and simple.
The Rideshare Hub your really overselling it man.you see usually people try to oversell things or in any way try to press you on buying something theyre offering when the product is awaful or overpriced ect.when the products description itself wouldnt convince someone to buy it.it signalls that your desprate and the product is not worth getting.in this case it wouldve been so much more productive if you had just told its qualities in a relaxed non overexited voice,not have specified where we should buy it before the video as if your desprate and afraid we will miss it (trust me if someone wants to buy it theyll listen to the end of the video.also people appericate honesty alot in todays world of oversaturated fake emotions.to summarize:your really shooting yourself in the foot here overselling making it seem like this product is horrible pushing away potential participants.

Gonna need to create a sign saying "play me, I'm free", kind a thing. Also need to change the double charger because arrived broken, (at least has been able to use it because my car have a USB port). Sent email to them but no response yet, wonder if there is a hub office in Orlando, FL.
Last question. Not sure it's related as I know the tablet uses Sprints network. I was thinking of getting a tmobile wifi hub for my car (60.00, tax right off, $4.00 a month). Allowing users to log into wifi on the ride. That said, I'm in Los Angeles... So there is a high likelihood the passenger just uses their phone data when in the backseat. (And I don't think that will turn into tips for me). Your thoughts? Thanks!

Yeah of course! I try to keep it minimal and I am also a minimalist in my normal life too - my walls are completely blank in my apt haha. They pay you through direct deposit. Once you sign up you get a profile and dashboard online where you see all your earnings. They are legit

Its 100 riders a month. If you do ten days out of that month and ten rides in one day you could definitely reach that goal without driving every day

I'm curious if that tablet can withstand car heat when the car is parked outside in SoCal.
I park in a garage so I don’t have that problem but if you park outside i would just take it inside with you it comes off really easily
