Washington Temple- A New Landmark

The temple, made of white Alabama marble, features six gold-covered spires and a gold-leaf statue of an angel named Moroni. The temple was completed after three years of construction and $15 million. It is considered a house of God, where special ordinances like eternal marriages and baptisms for the dead take place.
