I have done almost everything to get the award player of the year but I do get a lot of injuries as I play the whole game by myself scoring more than 5 goals each match but I don’t get the award

Mbappe gets it no matter what it’s kinda ridiculous. I got transferred to psg from man city and completely outplayed him in every way but he won year after year. The manager also doesn’t play Messi or Neymar so I left the club

I was a 94+ rated RW in Real Madrid, with a form above 8.0, got more than 60 g/a 2 seasons in a row, both top scorer and top playmaker of the year, and won the quadruple twice these both seasons. Mbappe won it lmao.
Back when I used to play fifa 21 player career, I won the ballon d'or in my third season when I was 88 rated. Now in fifa 23 it's always just Mbappe or sometimes Haaland
I played for Aletico and i'm the most goal at all competition and João Felix win it =))

Won all competitions as a 97 OVR Striker, was a POTW every week, POTM every month, scored well over 130+ goals in a season, was POTT every tournament my team entered. Got a 9.9 match rating on average and the award ceremony didn't even happen... They've made a shortlist which i was included in and that was it, no ceremony at any point of the year or next season lol.

This guide is great but do I need I high (88+) rating to compete for POTY or is it based on Statistics and form
It's definitely a rating thing paired with good stats so 90+ since that's when you get the "one of the world's best" status. I'm saying this without having won POTY yet but I'm 99.9% sure that's the case since I know for a fact that my stats were good enough to win POTY for 2 straight seasons minimun while not reaching 90ovr yet even with me getting injured and missing half the season(s) I'm on my 4th different club (Real Sociedad, Newcastle United, Manchester City and now Barcelona) in 4 season since I keep getting injured and and since EA have people with literal autism working for them your manager rating goes down even when injured so that's why they keep wanting to get rid of me. Don't think that's the case anymore since my role on the team is "crucial" since I got injured again and they didnt try to get rid of me.

I won it with an overall of 89. I was playing for a mid tier team for 18 games in Italy Serie A and finally got a transfer to Real Madrid mid season. It was my third year playing professionally in my career and Benzama was on the bench. I think I got lucky cause Vinicio was overall of 92 and was getting almost as many assists and goals as me

How do you win since the match rating system is bugged and is way lower than it should be?
I won every competition (super cup, Spanish cup, ucl, wc, etc) so many player of the months, top scorer in every competition, for 3 different seasons with 94 ovr and still didn’t get poty
I don’t think changing team matters. I won it with a 90 ovr striker when I went from Chelsea to Real Madrid at the start of the season

As i saw, in my pcm, Messi Mbappé Haaland and Lewandowski got listed for the ballon dor, i tried something: i lowered both Mbappé and Haalands overall to 60, so its between 93 Messi and 91 Lewa, I put Messi in to Bengaluru FC before that, he played there the whole season, and then put him free agent, it does not matter, he had the highest overall, Messi won the Ballon dor, so its basically just overall as i saw.
Does playing like 20 mins of the match and summing the rest make a difference
If I sim any game at all would it stop me from winning? I sim about 8-10 games during the season

Start first division of any league to avoid the transfer offer bug. I love starting at psg cause i have to earn my way to the squad. My favorite build is the 97 st

I don't think so because I played a game and subbed out after scoring a hat trick and 1 assist and didn't get a man of the match but when I did the play highlights and got the same stats I was awarded the man of the match. So by seeing that I would assume subbing out is the same as sim so it won't count which sucks
@@Tking7100 yes I noticed it as well no too long after I made this comment... hate playing the whole game after whooping the opposing team's ass. I used to sub out and should have at least 1 ballon by now, I'm currently a 97 overall so we'll see . I'm higher than any other star with that rating

I wish fifa 23 ballon d'or wasn't favored based on stats and overall. Of you win trophies, play the best on your team, and have at least 8.00 form, you should win the ballon d'or at every position. 2 goals 6 assists it don't matter. You should be able to win the ballon d'or. Am I right?
It should be based on all those things, to be honest. Stats still matter a good deal on both ends of the pitch.

It would be a really good cutscene for fifa because it happens in real life so why not on the game all what happens winning the ballon d’or is a picture of you winning it and also you should be able to have a look at what each player has won throughout there career like say if you win a champions league and a Ballon d’or you should be able to check how many they have won

Yes but you need to stay at the club for a long period of time. I'm not sure if you develop traits like in youth graduates in Manager CM so you probably don't need the leadership trait.
you need to have more appearances than everyone else in the club, so it's pretty hard, if you stay in the same team for 5+ years and have a lot of appearances, you could have the possibility to wear it

Theres a lot of randomness to it, but u can do things to minimize the effect of the random script. Such as having a higher overall and winning
so tell me if I'm wrong, but i played on a manager career and I created a player to play with and i used carlos anciloti as my manager. But anyway this season I was positive that this player would win as a CAM BECAUSE he had 101 Goals and 56 assists and did not even get nominated he won the champions league the leauge the other two leagues in the la liga was top scorer in all leagues and top assister in all leagues with my overall being at a hight 97 with me being the best in every category I still did not win please tell me what I am doing wrong. I won 11 out of 12 player of the months and still did not win so somebody help please.

As a CAM, I've won every single title for PSG and in other save for Real Madrid...in both saves my player was the leader in goals and assists in every competition, in rate, in overall, in player of the month... everything!
But the fun part is that my player even got mentioned for Ballon d'Or.
Nkunku, Mbappe, Son and Foden got selected by the game.

I’m on feyenoord and jus started my second season hoping I get a chance to win I got 55 goals in league and 80 plus total I had over 20 assists total as well so hope I win
That was my first season so find out this December I wasn’t even listed as a youngster to watch after that insane first year I broke records in most goals for Europa league and in the Dutch league so if I don’t wing I’m gonna be pissed
I think I like the PES system better. In PES you got a clip when you won the player of the year. And (corect me if I'm wrong) switching club doesn't matter

Injury effects it greatly. Your not playing for a large amount of time..

It seems like they only give the award to forwards and wingers. I’ve had countless incredible seasons as a CM and I’ve never won it. They give it to my teammates even though I’ve outplayed them every season
