Great video. How would you compare the AR body to an Ibanez AS (or Les Paul)? I have an AS-103 that I absolutely LOVE, and the AR720 has really caught my eye! Looks like incredibly workmanship that you don't get even on $2000 guitars nowadays...
Thanks Nick, the AR compares to a 60 s Neck LP of the traditional Versions, very heavy but sits well ( No dive in one direction) neck is slim maybe a C at least a good margin thinner then the one of AS or of 50s neck Guitars. Fretwork is very OK but not customshop! Rest is all good like Bridge, Nut, pots, Looks OK, good dynamic range. The neck is 3 piece laminated..so OK! Trussrod OK easy to do low action, finetune any buzzing..Body is smaller than AS ( the 335 Styles)..Pick ups is S 58 which are pretty hot ( i use seym.dunc.seth.lov. in my AS).overall flawless craftmanship i'd say .Hope that helped a little
Beautiful looking great finish on them and we'll made does look more expensive than it is plays nice as well Beautiful to see in the flesh people made many comments on how great it looks👍
Mark, she is heavy Like a Les Paul traditional, sounds like such but the Neck is rather a 60s neck 5,5 mm at the 7th and about 2,5 mm fat, rounded C ..Hope i could help
@@rveurope wow that heavy huh....it looks kinda thin, makes me more curious about it. Actually I'm choosing between the AR720 and an RG550. Both good guitars I'm sure. Thanks for the input mate!
Got this guitar last month, what a beautiful instrument, looks, feels and sounds great...
Absolutely.. Its a solid piece of gear..Congratulations
Just had this guitar come second hand picked up in mint condition not a mark looks gorgeous lovely finish sounds great and plays well
Same, one of my favourite guitars in my collection, I just find it easy to play 👍
This is a re-issue of the Ibanez Artist 2617 from 1978-1979. I had one for 40 years and sold it 3 years ago. Still regret it. Beautiful guitar.
Can Imagine🙋
Real smooth! Nice phrasing. And I love those Ibanezes. My firsts (bass & guitar) were Ibanezes.
Big thanks👃 ( and yes i love those Ibanez ( 'ses), or Squiers to all are fine instruments

Learned Something..never heard of this Brand..looked IT Up👍
@@rveurope thanks both great guitars rh2 and rh4 second rh2 is about 7.8. Hundred pounds ibanez still great glad I bought it won't let this one go
Beautiful guitars
You made a mistake. The bridge is a Gibraltar one and not an Art 1. Great guitar for playing jazz-rock.

What did you put on the tailpiece? Like a metal dragon or something 😆 what is that? Is this some kind of weight because of neck dive?
Thanks, No Neck Dive as you have on some SGs , this is a Cartier Panther with some stones for design reasons which i still had🤟
Nice! Thinking of getting one. How's the neck is it chunky like a les paul?
