Def need to drop those pressures. We Tow a trailer to Fraser with our Forester and drop the pressure on the trailer tyres to 18 as it's light trailer and car to 16 PSI with no issues at all. Just did our 4th trip last week!
I see Chris was trying to avoid helping digging you out by taking photos. Lol He sent me one of you bogged with Dean digging stuff the front left. Looks like you had a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing. The Luu’s are lovely people and have wonderful hearts. Watched your racing career for years Dean. Enjoy retirement and these adventures with the family.
Great to follow along on this new chapter! Where heading off in Feb ourselves. Haha gotta love the little sausage thief whilst your talking about eating to much… good to She’s just looking out for you 😂
I take it back, at least 1 of the girls had a 4 point harness on the oldest on the passenger side was in a booster seat with factory shoulder strap leaning over sound asleep with strap across her throat ! 😂 It's 4:00 AM CST in USA and I just found your channel and going to hit 👍 and subscribe then watch some more ! ✌️💙🎵 From St Louis Missouri USA
@@TeamFerris just watched the video, thanks for sharing. Love K'gari (Fraser) go there annually for 6-8 days at a time. The moment you went down I can tell you, far too much tyre pressure still. Lugging a van, I'd go down to 10-12 psi, (18psi is too high towing) about right for a light vehicle alone but I still think too high for your rig. Caravan, single axle go about 15-16, boogie axle, keep to 18-20 to avoid de-beading whilst tight mannovering. Vehicle alone, I'd run 16 in front max 18 in rear max. Anytime you get stuck go to 10 psi and drive out. Now, you do have to be very aware not to through it into a tight quick turn as you'll probably debead the tyre, but there should be no need for tight quick turns whilst beach driving. When you go back (and you will as K'gari hooks you in) try the lower psi towing, then inflate to 16 for balance of island venturing. You'll enjoy your time so much more.
@@shaunmoss7264 we appreciate your concern. But nothing to worry about. Dean simply enjoyed a few sips of a Wild Turkey can while we were crossing the barge. Everyone was safe, and no one was harmed in the making of this video 😊

Oh what a pity it wasn't sunny and warm at Lake McKenzie. It's such a different experience. But you've been and you went in.
Yeah, still cool though. Could kinda get the idea. Look forward to going back on a sunny day 🤙

Nice video mate, definitely on the bucket list
Just did a video at Moreton a few weeks ago
Nice one! Will have to check it out. We haven't been to Moreton yet. How is it over there?
@@TeamFerris I loved it 🙌 nice and close to home
Hanging to get back already :)
Fraser Island is awesome 😎
Loved it! Already looking forward to going back. Next time with Bikes we think 🤔
Awesome 💯🎯
Good place to start your trip, a bit of everything. Remember why you’re doing it and put those phones down
Great spot! 🤙
Reduce your Tyre pressures it will prevent you getting bogged and ride will be far more comfortable.
Yeah we did reduce the tyre pressure in the car and caravan, we did that before we left. We just didn’t know to empty the water tanks in the caravan.

Great video! What time of year was this? We're heading over in April - pulling a 600kg camper trailer.
Deans thinking...
If only I had a loader and my bike
ON SAND: AWD, AIR-DOWN 50%, MUCH WIDER OFFROAD/MUD/SNOW TIRES, NEVER PULL A TRAILER/LOAD!!
We lost our microwave plate after 5 years. Big thump must open the door. 👍🏻 glass everywhere! 😳
Whooops 🤙
Not eatin in the mornings...still drinkin tho🤪
Testing it out 🧐
@@TeamFerris Frazer Island K'gari...the greatest testing ground on the planet😁
Viet food is the best lol
So good!
You’re going to break something or kill someone if you don’t let you’re tyre pressure down on the beach…..
Yeah, We did let down our tyre pressure. We just didn’t know to empty the water tanks in the caravan.
I turned you off when you punched me in the face with the can of grog!
Not Deans fault, I’m a pretty bad influence 😂
Thanks for the feedback 🤙
Do you envy pets
🤷
4:58 Why
Why not?
Because your driving with your kids you flog!
