Trees

Humans have historically depended on trees for survival- including shelter, warmth, transportation, food, and oxygen. However, trees are now in a position of co-dependence on humans due to factors like global warming, deforestation, weather changes, and pollution that threaten their existence. Michael Duncan's new series of nine sculptures symbolically explores the evolving relationship, between humans and trees.
