The voice, the class and the elegance go without saying. In my opinion the great singers of those eras ability to draw you into the story of the song, and evoke the emotions that make you feel part of the song, is what makes them so great. It is apparent in your performances, that it is something you have worked hard at developing successfully, you couldn’t choose better to emulate.
Nat King Cole was such a legend. Love his smooth silky voice. He was an American singer, jazz pianist & actor. He recorded over 100 songs that became hits on the pop charts. He is best known for "Mona Lisa" & "Unforgettable" but he had so many great hits such as "(Get Your Kicks On) Route 66", "(I Love You) For Sentimental Reasons", "There! I've Said It Again", "Nature Boy", "Ramblin' Rose", "Smile", "The Very Thought Of You", "Those Lazy-Hazy-Crazy Days Of Summer" etc.

A great talent who passed far too early. As too his daughter, Natalie Cole, who also passed early. Her layered duet after her father's death, Unforgettable, was a huge hit, combining their voices into music magic. But I'll always remember Nat King Cole for his Christmas classic, The Christmas Song. An all time favorite as we head to the Holiday Season.
One of the greatest singing voices of all time. The 'Christmas Song' in particular is a legendary recording. 'Chestnuts roasting on an open fire'... classic song.
So many great songs by Nat. "Unforgettable", "Mona Lisa", "The Very Thought Of You", "Smile", "On The Street Where You Live". But for me he gave definitive versions of "Stardust", "Nature Boy", and of course "The Christmas Song"
The best vocal version of the song......Roger Williams hit #1 on the charts with his piano instrumental version in 1955......give that one a listen, that's just as enjoyable as well......God Bless Always & get over your cold real soon, never any fun to be sick with anything over the holiday season......prayers for sure......
Nat King Cole was my grandmothers favorite singer…well maybe second to Bing Crosby.Nat King Cole also endured obscene racism and eventually joined the NAACP.He was also at the march on Washington D.C. when Martin Luther King Jr. gave his “I have a dream…” speech. He’s a truly legendary music figure.
Dani, it did seem like we missed Autumn this year, going from very warm to winter cold. Nat King Cole had such a classic voice. Always a pleasure to listen to him. Angelina Jordan's version of this classic song is one of her hidden gems. ua-cam.com/video/h4l0y3I2vqc/v-deo.htmlsi=e74bAvr68zxZ5SnN

Yes, it really feels like we did!
Nat King Cole's version of Stardust is beautiful.
Eva Cassidy "Over The Rainbow" is a masterpiece, you must react to it. You've never heard anything like it.
You should listen to Edith Piaf singing this song.
Frank sinatra's version is awesome also
Now do EVA CASSIDY’s cover of AUTUMN LEAVES.
Hi Dani have u had a chance to listen to unchained melody by Elvis from his moody blues album.
