Great tutorials must of taken you a long time to make. So much easier to just download the file but at least know I have a better understanding of what is going on.
Hello! Thanks for the instructions - but there are issues - reverses set as you in the movie. 5.26 minute. But when I connect Naza - got that stick gas began to work in the opposite direction. The top of the zero gas.bottom max gas.Why on the video feed gas and an Elevator you have not put the reverse? Another question I have a receiver Orange R800X Spektrum DSMX - tell me how to connect to the Naza lite? This receiver 5 channel chassis,6 channel flaps 7 and 8 are optional.Channel U Naza 7 channel receiver? X1 Naza 5 channel receiver? X2 Naza 6 channel receiver? Switches in DX9 how to assign?Did like the movie - turned out to be nonsense. In assistant mode switching does not match.
Thanks Keith, I really appreciate your comment. Being French I may sometimes stumble on certain words or it may not come out quite right but I'm learning. I've received my remaining items I needed to continue with this series of videos, next one should be one about making your rx to Naza connections and binding. Then the last one will be setting up the function in the Naza assistant.
Thank You all your info about programming DX8 and NazaM. It was very helpfully. I am living in Poland and I just built my first DJI f450. Thanks again, thumbs up
thankyou so much for your brilliant video. ive just got my first dx9 after many years waiting and you have made it so much easier for me.THANKYOU and happy new year
Superb video - best on UA-cam - I'm setting up dx9 for Wookong flight controller which is only slightly different I believe. Maybe U and x1 not certain - can you guide me to the differences and the small changes to the dx9 setup you describe. Many thanks - Citizen Cam.
Thanks very much for your videos and the excellent guidance on your website. I'm completing my first build of an F550, and your resources have been indispensable. Even with a detailed reading of the manual, some of the concepts weren't clear until I had seen your video series. Again, thanks for sharing your expertise.
Again thank you, wonderfully clear tutorial .... "old dog" still learning new tricks. Just purchased DX9 after my faithful old JR TX died and I had no option (JR no longer available) but to get a whole new radio. Would never have been able to go past the very very basics without some clear visual help. Keep up the good work :-)
Life saver. Haven't touched a radio since FM 12 yrs ago. It's another world now. Mines a DX6 so some bits are missing on this radio. I think I've got it sorted out though. Thankyou for taking the time to make this video it was a great help. Onto video 3 now....
thank you very much for your time and info. i will get the ar8000, so i can do retracts. for a remote, im using a dx9 and have followed your set up vids step by step.
Ahhh, I rewatched the Dx8 video again, for some reason I thought the failsafe portion was missing. My bad. Do you have a video about the course/ home lock and/or gain tuning via the Dx8. I know you mentioned it in the video . could you show how it's done, or is it already done via the video
Thanks how about sharing your settings for the TX on a file or by email, i would be really greatfull, i have spent hours trying to sort out the settings, i have followed your guides but it would be nice to know i have got it right, one more thing could you show us what would happen in the Naza software should the TX be turned off simulating loss of signal. well done
Thank you for your time and effort! It takes most of the guess work out . I know it's many years later but I have nobody else I'd rather ask for help... I have an old phantom 2 vision w no camera, it has the Phantom 2 naza , not the naza m v2, (this is probably where im going wrong) removed stock receiver, added orange 920x Binding normal process. Using your settings in my DX9 black, Problem is as soon as naza m v2 Realizes no stock tx it goes into failsafe. Even though the PT2 program indicates connection there's no life on the program screen , no sticks, no way for me to adjust trims .no way to calibrate. This is driving me crazy! Merci beaucoup! Seriously, I really appreciate the time and effort you expended to create this extremely helpful tutorial. Please forgive any French misspelling, its been almost 50 years since I was last in France in a little town called Captieux.
Hi Freechip excellent set of videos. Copied yours to the letter all seems fine only question i have is now that i have set my gains & flying ok how do i set the aux3 knob on my dx8 to operate the gimbal tilt. Many thanks Paul.
AR7600, I also use an AR8000 in my hexa and have recently changed the AR7600 to an AR7700 to provide programming help for someone who wanted to use SBus connection.
Cool, thanks for sharing. I haven't got around to making a video for the DX6gen.2. Maybe if the demand for one is high and/or have time I'll make one. :)
Great video and every thing worked out great but one It will go into GPS and Manual mode but cant get the slider to stop on attitude when the switch is on number 1 .. what do i change to get it to stop on Atti. Thanks for any help
Switch to Atti mode and use sub trim to adjust. You may need to use servo travel to adjust the end points for gps and manual. If your radio is up to date you can use Digital Switch menu to adjust the values for each switch position so when you toggle into each flight mode the assistant shows them activated. Aka blue

There is no issue or errors in my video, the settings are based on the equipment I'm using. Spektrum transmitter and receiver.

Cool Thanks sooo much. Ron.
Great video, Im setting up my dx9 with a F550, Will these settings work for that. Thanks in advance. Frank
Yes - it doesn't matter if it's a 450 or 550, what's important is that it's a NazaM or Naza Lite.
tanks u man u are genius
This was amazing, Thank you so much for doing this. Wicked setup and Excellent walk through. I'll be looking out for more of your vids !!!!!

email me at smarlo@yahoo.com - it will be easier and quicker for me to respond to you. put DX9 naza programing in subject line of email.
Super - You are a Star.

Was Good and yes time & effort did go into making these BUT I enjoyed doing them. Look for more in the future.
Hi Freechip excellent set of videos. Copied yours to the letter all seems fine only question i have is now that i have set my gains & flying ok how do i set the aux3 knob on my dx8 to operate the gimbal tilt. Many thanks Paul.
In the Switch Select menu of your DX8 change the Knob: selection to Aux3 or the auxiliary channel that you're using for your gimbal tilt function.
IM A noob. I went through both of your videos how do i arm my quad now? I dont have gps on it yet. Will that affect it from arming?
To arm your Naza equiped quad you need to perform the CSC "Control Stick Command" which is both sticks Down and Out or Down and In....
many thanks!!!!
Excellent tutorial video, you saved me many hours of agony and your video was well laid out and easy to follow.
Thanks, waiting for GPS for NazaM Lite to get here tomorrow so I can continue with the remaining tutorials.
what spektrum receiver are you using ?
AR7600, I also use an AR8000 in my hexa and have recently changed the AR7600 to an AR7700 to provide programming help for someone who wanted to use SBus connection.
if i want to add retracts, would the ar8000 work?
To use Naza's full functions you need 7 channels so of course if you have 8 you can do retracts. You of course need an 8 or more channel radio.
Hey, this Video helps me a lot with the new DX6!!!
Thank u very much freemarlochip ;)
Cool, thanks for sharing. I haven't got around to making a video for the DX6gen.2. Maybe if the demand for one is high and/or have time I'll make one. :)
