Question: Let's say you have Donald Duck - Strutting his stuff in your own play side and not the enemy's. While he's in play and Extended, you activate Shield of virtue. Does he still get activated since he said it's "chosen"?
Thanks fornall the explanations. Just vistited my first turnanent yesterday and wanted to chrck some stuff out. Ward is interesting and I think many played it wrong yesterday 😂 What is hard to figure out is, when to quest or attack and when to jot donanything andnhuold up more. As I havent played many TCGs thats something I need to figure out more, to gain thebmost valuenout of my cards.. Any tips for that?
Congrats on going to your first tournament! I hope it was a lot of fun! I am also new to TCGs, but I will try to answer your question as best I can. Choosing when to attack, when to quest, and when to not do anything is an interesting balancing act. When I first started, if I wasn’t doing anything else with them on that turn, I just quested every time. This didn’t work out great as my cards were quickly taken out. Over time, I have learned that the simple way to think about it is, try to have a better board state than your opponent. Meaning, if you have a chance to challenge one of their characters and it’s a favorable trade for you, do it! If you think you can quest and not be taken out, then quest. Every game is different, but basically you want to find the balance between questing every turn (since questing is how you win the game) and keeping your characters on the board to have more than your opponent. I hope that helped, and good luck in your future tournaments!!

With cards that damage all players, like get your sword, does it damage evasive?
Yes, evasive only limits challenging. Grab Your Sword affects all opposing characters, including evasive. I hope this helps!
Thanks for this! Where does it say that an ability that impacts all characters isn't affected by ward
Ignore me you just explained it in the end of the video haha 😄
Haha Oh good! I’m glad you were able to figure it out!
If you have any other questions, let me know!
