We just got approved! Only took 3 days. I watched your video of how to file the trademark myself and did registry right after. Took 24 hours for Amazon to accept the serial number and we were approve 48 hours after that.

@H2LYB You applied the trademark by yourself and Amazon took the pending application? I thought Amazon only accepts pending trademarks if filed through their IP accelerator law firms.
@@raingrimm3929 correct, I did it myself and Amazon took the pending trademark. You don’t need to use the IP accelerators firms. They are just an option. You’ll save $750 doing it yourself.
This needs to be updated Camron... This registry process got a whole lot more complicated since you created this video. They're requiring proof of a relationship with your supplier, proof of your order etc. and these documents are required. It's way more challenging now and this is apparently a very recent change.
I'm gong through the process right now and noticed the difference.

The trolls come out during a full moon apparently. Very random and unnecessary. Lol. Anyway im going through the process now and was unsure of what I needed to provide. This change is recent as of just 2 months ago and there's no videos or information about it. I dont have any proof of being a "qualified manufacturer" but fortunately that part is optional. For the other of sourcing or supply invoice, I make everything by hand so I wasnt sure what to include. However, i found out it means you can include an invoice of anything you do source like parts or materials. In my case, i make candles so I used an invoice for the purchase of wicks and candle jars. Hope that helps.

We want to get brand registry but the trademark was registered in Taiwan but we have the distribution rights in the US. We want to get set up with brand registry because there are a lot of accounts on Amazon selling our products below MAP pricing. Are we able to set up brand registry even though the trademark is registered in Taiwan?

Do I need to open a new amazon seller account for brand registry to sell my own brand or can I use my existing account where are I sell other peoples products? Hey James, how am I supposed to get the ASIN if adding a product requires my brand to be registered? I did it throguh IP Accelator, then I am assuming I would have to apply for Brand Registry and then create the lable last (so that my brand name shows up)

Hi Cameron, I made my trademark application 2 weeks before in Turkey, obviously it is pending. Amazon says that they can't find my trademark and I should create my trademark. How can I solve this problem, I have logo and everything. When I search Turkish Patent Office, I can see my trademark.
What happens after you pass the initial enrollment process? I received a letter that states "We have reviewed the document that you provided and we have forwarded your application for next steps in the enrollment process".

We submitted a picture of a box with a stamp of our brand name on it and our brand registry application was rejected. The stamp had our brand name in all caps and the trademark is technically not all caps. Do you think this could be the reason why it was rejected?

Great video. Does Amazon require proof of trademark for each product you add after you're already enrolled in Brand Registry? For example, if I get approved for Brand Registry with a product trademarked in class 28, do I have to show proof of trademark to add a future product that is in class 16 even if I'm using the same brand/logo?

Great video, Camron! I believe there is a mistake in your video. You cannot use pending trademark application to register. Amazon does not allow it unless you apply for trademark through their IP acceleration program (very costly for beginners). I did not managed to get it through. Very curious if anyone here did it by yourself successfully.
Yes you can use pending trademark application to register.

@@reymondrey7187 Yes. I upload the document which are required. I asked my manufacturer to send me invoice and contract which is almost same thing. When they send me documents I redacted price information and attached that documents. Yesterday I got email from Amazon and they accepted my application.

Each state has their own options for registering an LLC. There's also a host of services that can set everything up for you. For example, Legal Zoom.com
Tried doing it today and closed the application to make changes and now I'm locked out of ever reapplying, what kind of non-sense is that?!
It looks like Amazon has since added more requirements on Manufacturing and distribution information. It now asks for manufacturing information for third-party manufacturer which manufactures majority or all of the products under your brand.

My best recommendation is to keep trying. Sometimes it's just the luck of the draw. I know that might not sound helpful, but that's the best option if you get stuck on this step.
During my process in brand registry, under manufacturing and distribution information, it asks me for the proof of arrangement between my brand and my manufacturer as well as a copy of any recent sourcing/manufacturing/supply invoice (1 or more) published in the last 6 months which includes one or more of the brand’s product names. Could you please assist me in this one?
