I think cakewalk sonar has better piano roll
Yes, I used Sonar, I used Sonar for more than 14 years.I changed to Cubase in a few years ago.The performance was much better.
There's a downside to Sonar. If you work on a project and draw complex CC LINE on multiple tracks, and do a lot of effecting, SONAR can't stand it. I ended up giving up SONAR because of that. SONAR has a really optimized system for drawing MIDI NOTE, but the score in the final performance was bound to drop. If you look at my early videos, they're all made of SONAR. I ended up moving on to CUBASE. And then because I had the upper hand in the final performance, I decided to overcome some inconveniences.
