Great build for Takeovers. But for Cutthroats and Wagers, you need to change the armor to the Black Prince and the main furniture to the Rigging Station.
Yeah that’s very true, quite often there is no other ships around near the starting locations of a cutthroat cargo event! Just make sure we wipe the other player as soon as the event starts or we will never catch them again, especially if the Sambuks dreaded head wind comes 😂
Questions: 1. Can you show how you setup your hotbar wheel? Like do you use food and repair kits and if so which ones and why do you use them? 2. Have you attempted the races yet? I've been debating between upgrading the Sambuk or the Brigantine for the races although I've heard that some ships might be better against the wind than the Brigantine. Thoughts?
Hi Drake, I use either water or status removal kits on the top arrow, “vary Be Menaka” on the right arrow, repair kit 2 on the bottom arrow, and any sort of cooked food on the left arrow for stamina. As for the races, the brigantine is much better than the Sambuk! The Sambuk can have decent speed but it’s really bad when there is headwinds. If you want a ship to upgrade for races than I’d definitely recommend the brigantine. I hope this helps :)
I love both this video and the Snow build, I have both. But leveling them up what a pain, is there a quick way? Like the Wood pitch! Maybe a video on this would be great 👍🏻
Thank you for your support 😊 collecting all the resources can be a pain! The easiest way is if you have heaps of pieces of 8 then you can buy the resource bundles from the black market and then refine them. If you don’t have the pieces of 8 to spend then it makes it much harder. Do you know about tagging any resource, for example “wood pitch” in your codex and then it shows you on your map where to collect it? Also fighting the bosses is great for resources to drop. I was thinking of doing a video on resource collection, so I’ll get onto that! Also lots of players sell resources or trade it for other resources.

I can definitely see what you mean, but I still like volatile fuel equiped just because of the longer reload time of the Infernal Maw. But if you feel the Infernal Maw is always ready when you need it, then you could definitely swap it out for maybe the furniture that increases bombard projectile speed :) making it even easier to hit your targets
I’m at level 3 almost level 4 but wood pitch is becoming a problem. Can just buy the orca’s mechanisms with Po8. So I’m on a non stop hunt for wood tar 😢
I feel your pain! Don’t forget to keep repeating the smuggler guys mission that rewards you with wood pitch/tar, it’s a nice way to get a good lump of it at a time and you can repeat the mission fairly often. You’re probably already doing it but always loot the shipwrecks too!

Zamzamas are great but I prefer the bombard 3’s for the much longer distance engagements. I like to have the enemy sunk before they get close enough for zamzamas if I can. I have played around with zams and they don’t seem to gel as good together
Yeah if I find the infernal maw is enough with the instant ablaze then I would probably switch it to starboard furniture. I’ll be playing around with this :)
The only reasons I could think of right now is maybe those ships are assigned to a manufactory? As any ship at manufactories won’t show up for upgrades. Or maybe you don’t have the materials needed to upgrade the sambuk and barque so it isn’t highlighting them?

One question though, did they Nerf the Sambuk last update or are the enemies tougher? when I first did your build on the Sam I annihilated just about everything that came in my path. But since that update, it seems like it’s not as effective as it was even though it’s still quite good.

Trying to upgrade my sambuk but materials is hard to get like wood tar i can do some plunders by myself but not higher than 10 or 12 and calling for help not alot players answer even though it benefits for everyone when y co op
Yeah it can be tricky getting the resources early on. Have you got any spare Po8 that you can use to buy the resources from the black market? If not I can give you some of the materials to help speed it up 😊

Im working on the snow and brig at the moment. Just trying to get a couple of furniture pieces to make the builds perfect, “medicine cabinet and organ harvesting”
The best way to find the blueprint for any furniture (including volatile fuel 1), is to go to the carpenter in either Sainte-Anne or Telok Penjarah and scroll through the different furniture pieces and if you see one you like press the “track” button (on PS5 it is square) this will then show you where to find that blueprint. The volatile fuel blue print is from Telok penjarah :)
You can’t buy it from A vendor, you can only get lucky and get it from some of the convoys. Perilous path of profits and alliance of convenience are known to have it :)
They do different roles, so it depends on what your style and preference is 😊 The Sambuk is best for doing massive damage to enemy ships, but it is a bit weaker when receiving damage. The Barque is best for survivability because it has built in passive healing, and when using the ouroboros it gets even more passive healing. So it’s very good for newer players to survive most encounters, especially in PVE. I would say Sambuk would be better for PVP as you can deal massive damage and hopefully kill other players before they do much damage to you. I have a video on my channel showing how good the Barque is. Hopefully this helps :)
I found the Sinew String to be the most difficult resource to farm for the Sambuk. But if you continually plunder Ankohonana (in the centre of the red isles) and do the Fara convoy event that spawns on the left side (west) of Red Isles, plus do any boss fights you can. These 3 events can give lots of Sinew String, and if you can be in a group with other people when doing these events, then the amount of Sinew String that you can get is multiplied! I hope this helps :)

I meant it really doesn’t matter what kind of build you have. It’s all about how you play the game. You could have any kind of boat as long as you play the game good and have a good strategy that’s what matters.😊
Black prince, rigging station will out live this every time in pvp. Bombard works, bombard power house, front/ starboard/ port 10% damage. And 10% damage when ablaze. Wrecks everything. The buccaneer is great for pve but not against a black prince/ rigging station build in pvp.
It would be great to try the builds out against each other, because I destroyed a lot of other Sambuks and I’m sure some of them would have been using the build you mentioned
At the shipwright you can upgrade your ships up 6 levels. After the 5th upgrade it will increase the base number for your ship and add an extra furniture slot. This all allows you to get your ship to level 13 :) Does that all make sense?
@@azertyazert8411 go to the carpenter in Sainte-Anne and go scroll across to “offensive furniture” then track it and it will show you where to get the blue print. Once you get the blue print the carpenter will craft it for you :)
Man idk I had a sloop kill me in 5 sec and I did not get to fire my big gun man somehow killed me from 300m away that fast is there cheaters in this game
You can always use the “track” feature at the carpenter to find the location of any furniture piece blue print. If there is no blue print available it will tell you where you need to buy the piece from
Because I don’t use that boat and the other boats, I’m using I kill Other players with that boat and I don’t even use that boat, I use them different different boat and I still killed them with that boat that you’re showing so it really doesn’t matter. I think it really matters how you play the game strategy. How do you play the game?🤷♂️😊
Strategy and how you play definitely plays an important part :) I’ve always been a fan of taking my enemies out from longer distances if I can. What’s your play style?
@@gusomajic Rigging station + black prince is the way to go, throw in 5% hull health furniture for good meassure. Most efficetive on the snow due to hull hp and fact you can tank abit with brace during cluch situations. But yea can be used on other ships decently as well, you become so tanky its stupid.

Constantly switch left to right with the fast reload time you can keep firing learn to lead shots on moving targets.

@@gusomajic ich sage nicht dass der Sambuke schlecht ist nein. Bloß der Brigg hat mehr Feuerkraft also mehr kanonen, natürlich kommt es drauf an welche Ausstattung man verwendet. Ich habe Bojenkasten epische lvl 1, Bombarden - Tischlerei 1 epische, Erhöhtes Achterdeck 1 selten, Pläne der Lapeste La Potenco 1, Bombardenwerkstatt 1, Pulverfass Steuerbord. Im Endeffekt ist es so dass jeder für sich sein Liebling Schiff aussuchen soll, ich habe Beispiel 3 einmal die Bark das ist meine Nummer 1, dann das Brigg Nummer 2 und als letztes Schnau als Panzer 3 😁. Überall sind anderen Waffen verbaut. Meistens spiele ich mit Bark der ist mein Universal schiff der kann halt alles. Ansonsten wünsche ich dir viel spaß im Spiel vielleicht sieht man sich sogar 🫡✌️😁

Why your are not using zamzama 3? I feel that they have a better dps and you could combine it with healing after crewattack furniture

If you can’t get your hands on it then I would either use the bombard elemental multiplier or the port/starboard damage multiplier 🏴☠️

A good player will always do well, but if you have a good build AND a good player then you will be even more successful!

I have the Sambuk ship like you but I don't have enough Furniture
You can always use the “track” feature at the carpenter to find the location of any furniture piece blue print. If there is no blue print available it will tell you where you need to buy the piece from
Because I don’t use that boat and the other boats, I’m using I kill Other players with that boat and I don’t even use that boat, I use them different different boat and I still killed them with that boat that you’re showing so it really doesn’t matter. I think it really matters how you play the game strategy. How do you play the game?🤷♂️😊

Every snow I’ve faced hasn’t stood a chance, but I’d love to see what snow build you’re using. Maybe I haven’t come across others using it yet?
Every sambuk lvl 13 i faced with my lvl 13 snow was easy work.@@gusomajic
@@gusomajic Rigging station + black prince is the way to go, throw in 5% hull health furniture for good meassure. Most efficetive on the snow due to hull hp and fact you can tank abit with brace during cluch situations. But yea can be used on other ships decently as well, you become so tanky its stupid.
@@mrboty I would love a testing ground where we could try all sorts of builds out against others. I’m currently trying out a build on a snow with the storm woven symphony, it’s looking pretty good so far!

@@Th3JokerG4ng snow max level, endless requim all around, aux: warhammer, ouroboros armor, furniture: torpedo furnace, rocket works, torpedo grinder, tuning station,torpedo works and water tank. Constantly switch left to right with the fast reload time you can keep firing learn to lead shots on moving targets.
I’d love to try this builds out against one another, the snows I versed weren’t using the endless requiem.

@@Th3JokerG4ng use enhanced repair kit 1, look at their weaponry and brace at the right time then release and fire healing up with ouroboros and dealing damage.

@@gusomajic ich sage nicht dass der Sambuke schlecht ist nein. Bloß der Brigg hat mehr Feuerkraft also mehr kanonen, natürlich kommt es drauf an welche Ausstattung man verwendet. Ich habe Bojenkasten epische lvl 1, Bombarden - Tischlerei 1 epische, Erhöhtes Achterdeck 1 selten, Pläne der Lapeste La Potenco 1, Bombardenwerkstatt 1, Pulverfass Steuerbord.
Im Endeffekt ist es so dass jeder für sich sein Liebling Schiff aussuchen soll, ich habe Beispiel 3 einmal die Bark das ist meine Nummer 1, dann das Brigg Nummer 2 und als letztes Schnau als Panzer 3 😁. Überall sind anderen Waffen verbaut. Meistens spiele ich mit Bark der ist mein Universal schiff der kann halt alles.
Ansonsten wünsche ich dir viel spaß im Spiel vielleicht sieht man sich sogar 🫡✌️😁
