I understand what you mean but believe me these movies were never meant to be based on true facts or true history. They are a romanticized version or even a joking version of the American West that's why they're called spaghetti westerns. They were made in Italy and they just don't equate to what was really happening over here in the United States with what they're based on. Believe me I come from a family of the western settlers and we watch these and just sit here and go really? My ex-husband who we're not divorced because we didn't love each other it was his Japanese mother would not accept him being married to an American would have also understood that this was a parody on the famous samurai Honor code etc. What disappointed me was poor sheriff did not get away from his bitter grasping always pregnant wife. The movie would have been better if it had ended that way because you see in the west that is what a man was able to do or a woman if there are circumstances were such that their marriages were horrible they were able to walk away and start over again choosing a new life and that is why divorce is more acceptable in the West in America than it is in the East.
