October is Pedestrian Safety Month but pedestrian safety is important all year long.
Recognizing the increasing issue of distracted walking and driving, FDOT’s "Put It Down: Focus On Driving" campaign targets both pedestrians and drivers. It promotes the importance of staying alert and focused on the road environment, whether walking or driving.
