@@GachaDolos I just got an idea that i haven't seen done before but have suggested to others, a land of the lustrous phosphophylite izuku story I can give you the link to where I read the manga if you want, even if you don't do the story it's a great series
Now that I am playing through prey and starting to hate most human sized and upwards typhon, I could totally see Yu sleep talking (or accidentally setting off its abilities) which would help get exposition (not the activation of abilities it would just be funny) to the other characters. Another thing could be used is that Yu could use the mind control ability (forgot the name of it) to have him project his mental images to other people. Don’t know if I’m just tired or something but from where I see this it could work.
Good Idea on the accidental ability discharge and the image mindjack idea. Problem with both is (1) Its neurologicly implanted so its like you were born with it so accidentally acting it is near impossible. (2) A character in the Moon Crash DLC was mindjacked and it didn't have any weird imagery, just voices of the telepath commanding the host to do as it demands. As for Yu sleep talking, I can see that.

@@GachaDolos rebuttal on point 2) we only see non sentient / non emotional typhon control people so perhaps emotions could alter the ability
