Hands down one of the best tutorials for Corel, using esp. the outline, text and easy learning. Pausing, playback and following along is easy to do and learned a lot. I also like the fact that you are not all over the place, jumping from one subject to another and loosing the viewer half way through your tutorial. Time after time, trying to migrate to Illustrator, stuff like this shows how powerful Corel suite is and if you stick to it and learned most of the feature(s), the possibilities are endless especially the workflow could be so much faster. If you also do signage, vinyl cutting or large format printing Corel is so much more. This is still the go to tool, and if you prefer Video over reading a book we ought encourage more tutorials and show appreciation because some learn visually. This is my preferred channel now on my Chromecast to improve and get ideas. Thanks again.
I've used Corel for close to 20yr... since version 3. I still learn something new almost everyday... I just learned 1 week and a half's worth of shortcuts in 1hr 15min. Thanks Joe!
i have been in the sign business for 35 years. i do gold leaf, striping, and still learning with corelx5. its nice to find new ways of certain effects, thank you very much
watching and learning from these things is never a waste of my time even for an hour of watching, I mean I could watch even longer as long as I can get something from it and I know it will make me better as I start my career as a graphic designer, it is I could say a very productive thing to do because it really helps and motivates me to learn from the best and those people who put effort making these tutorials like you. Fantastic tutorial. I am a total beginner and have been really frustrated trying to learn how to do things. This tutorial was so good, it covered things that I wanted to do and was not too fast and was easy to understand. Thankyou very much 🙂
This is one of the best tutorials I have seen. Great job on the explanations of everything. The "squint test" is a wonderful way to see if your sign can be viewed from a distant legibly. Keep up the good work Mr. Diaz. I can't wait to try these out, and see more of your work.

This is perfect tutorial. Just for the beginners like me. It was very cognitive information. So many dropshadows, layers, colors .... good talking about the contrasts .... i am not good in English so i cant show you all my feelings about this .... It was amazing hour. Thank you! Just had 1 question during all this tutorial - how did you draw all these pictures, i think by yourself, like letters, but i feel a little hesitance. So, it was great, thank you again!

Better is a difficult question. They are both excellent software programs. Both have very great points about them. I use both depending on what I'm doing. Typically I do logo and lettering with Adobe products, but I'm curious to learn more about Corel.... hence why I'm here. :) Color separation is much easier with Corel in my opinion.
Thanks, I'm assuming you meant the first recording was useless to watch? For what ever reason when we recorded it the audio and video didn't sink up. However, when I did it live there weren't any audio issues that we heard about. The nice thing about watching it live, and the only downside of this re recording is the Q and A session that took place during the live broadcast.

For the people who are having problems with volume, there are a variety of extensions to chrome with you can use to that make the volume higher. I used one called Volume Booster. Great tutorial by the way, congratulations!

I got the font from a company called the "Fontry" years ago. If I remember right it was a part of a font pack. You might try looking on their site.
