One more form of Shirk is to follow the desires of Nafs, Allah says in Quran, أَرَءَيْتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَـٰهَهُۥ هَوَىٰهُ أَفَأَنتَ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ وَكِيلًا(25:43) Translation: Have you ever considered the case of him who has taken his carnal desire for his god? Can you take responsibility for guiding him to the Right Way?
