Hello thanks for the great video, I have subscribed to your channel. I do need help with a very similar thing I am trying to do, but its not working I am trying to run a desktop flow from the cloud flow.. I set the recurrence in a similar fashion but the Cloud flow just doesnt kick off, theres nothing in the flow run history. I just set the following in the "Recurrence" Intreval --> 1 week (I have set it to run Monday through to Friday so selected week) Timezone --> UTC+10 (Sydney) Start time --> 2023-02-01T17:25:00Z (As I need to run it at 5:25 pm each day of the week) On these days --> Monday - Friday At these hours --> 17 At these minutes --> 25 So the preview says it runs at 17:25 pm every weekday. So when the time arrives, the flow just does NOT kick off. Please advice what I am doing wrong. Note : For the "Start time" I have even tried "00Z" and "000Z" (both dont work)
This is either out of date already or my version is very different. With desktop flows (run a flow built with power automate desktop) i need a gateway name, domain and username, and password. Maybe it's not possible for me to schedule anything and I should try learning python.
@@smsdavis I got some to work but I can't remember the gateway name and domain I used. The biggest thing for me was to run the scheduled flow as "attended", "unattended" does not work for me at all. Power automate desktop works great for a lot of stuff I otherwise hate doing but I have a feeling python is going to give me better options so I started learning that.
Thanks SOOOO much for making this. Other channels have been making it insanely complicated and esoteric. Side Note: None of my desktop flows will appear on the web portal. I'm signed into the same account, but it still won't populate them. Any ideas why?
The choices you get with Run a flow built with Power Automate Desktop are NOT what is shown here. There are two options. Neither seems to work. Could you please UPDATE your instructions.
You have to create a Desktop flow connection, the instruction is here docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-automate/desktop-flows/install#setup-desktop-flows-connections-and-machine-credentials
Hello I have 1 query... currently I m using pad free version which available on win 10 . Daily I have to put one note pad file in my server for this my flow already created successfully but I want to put yesterday date for this purpose. Currently I m using Excel instance and copy date from that instance paste it on server . Whether any other option available for this ?
Solution (Login to Power Automate there you can see this Solution) is the only way to do so. You need to create solution and add all the required flows that you wanna copy to another environment. After that just export the solution to another environment.
One more solution is you go to desktop flow. Ctrl+A then ctrl+C. Open notepad. ctrl+V. Save this file and open this file and on new environment copy this code from notepad to new desktop flow by ctrl+v

I see the same thing you do. I can't seem to find any real information. Did you find what would work?

Power Automate Premium license is required

If I run the scheduler unattended will user interface clicking work exactly like attended RPA?
Yes, it clicks on the correct element if you have tested your flow and it shows the correct one.

One question I have: How can we copy and paste power automate desktop flow from one environment to other environment?

Why is it premium(paid)?
