The level ball does not work how you think, it’s based off how much higher your active pokemons level is compared with the wild one so it works as a regular pokeball out of battle I believe and gets worse the higher the opponent Mons level is. Also catchrate is not affected by level outside of the level ball, so a level 100 and level 1 rattata have the same base catchrate.
Props to Jerome and friends for surviving against all those dangerous caterpies and lilipups

in legends arceus you fight the arcanine in a volcano island thats why its the lord of the isles
Jerome missed like 20 balms on Arcanine because he was shooting he legs which didn't have hotboxes.
Bulbasaur is a very underated pokemon he is my favorite pokemon and the strongest gen 1 starter

Stead chose the best starter out of the ones they chose in terms of abilities and for competitive. A greninja with protean is amazing because it always hits for STAB damage as long as you actually attack and can create some pretty good type balance for your team
and steeve choose the best for cathing pokemon
While yes that is true, and you can also get a battle bond one so there are multiple options, the starter you get always has torrent overgrow or blaze, and he would need to find wild froakies anyway to get those abilities. Your starter really does not matter at the end of the day. But in pixelmon Charizard lets you fly which is probably the best choice early game.
Also contrary serperior is better.

Idk if it’s different in Minecraft but in the actual Pokémon games level balls are more effective the more higher your level is and lower the wild Pokémon is compared to you
Jerome got a enigma berry. I am surprised that thats actually in pixelmon bc it was a berry that cannot be obtained normally and can only be obtained when trading pokemon holding items and sometimes there will be a enigma berry. I dont remember what it does but i think it doesnt do anything.
