- I’ve wanted to do this video for ages, Alhumduiallah Allah gave us the chance 🤲🏼 The recitiation opened up a deep conversation about Islam. AlhumdilAllah I have told my family 6 months ago and they are skeptical but have accepted that I am following Islam. My longer post was an attempt to give hint and suggestion, but I wanted to add that you know your dad better than all of us. I just thought thought that the tone of the original video and the little reading into it that "to remember God always" may be a bit much for non muslim who have no idea about the teaching of Islam... that is why perhaps your lovely Dad said he did not understand the part that "you live for the after life" that is what i tried to convey with my other post, but you are doing great, and Guidance comes from Allah, as you know sister.

Where is the original Qur'an? As famously admitted by top Islamic scholars like Dr Yasir Qhadi and Dr Shabir Ally, there are "HOLES in the Standard (traditional) Islamic Narrative" of the perfect preservation of the Qur’an from Day ONE. Unfortunately Muslim scholars and Imams deliberately hide this from unsuspecting Muslims who continue to ignorantly believe in the MYTH of the perfect preservation of the Qur'an from day 1.
In other words: the Qur'an Muslims have today is not word for word the same as the one said to be written by Muhammad’s companions.
Islam has no complete manuscript of the Qur’an from the first hundred years of Islam. Islam has no complete manuscript before 750.
There is no complete manuscript of the Qur’an from the time of Uthman.
The earliest but incomplete Birmingham manuscript (only parts of Surahs 18-20) of the Qur’an has MANY, MANY VARIATIONS. Earlier manuscripts of the Qur'an also only had consonants but no vowels. Vowels seem to have been added in later manuscripts. Uthman burnt some chapters and a goat, according to Aisha, ate another chapter (the chapter on breast feeding adult men???:
Sahih Muslim 1453 a:
' A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Sahla bint Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be eupon him) and said:
Messengerof Allah, I see on the face of Abu Hudhaifa (signs of disgust) on entering of Salim (who is an ally) into (our house), whereupon Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) said: Suckle him. She said: How can I suckle him as he is a grown-up man? Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) smiled and said: I already know that he is a young man 'Amr has made this addition in his narration that he participated in the Battle of Badr and in the narration of Ibn 'Umar (the words are): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) laughed.
Sahih Muslim 1453 b
'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hadhaifa, lived with him and his family in their house. She (i. e. the daughter of Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and said:
Salim has attained (purbety) as men attain, and he understands what they understand, and he enters our house freely, I, however, perceive that something (rankles) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa, whereupon Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) said to her: Suckle him and you would become unlawful for him, and (the rankling) which Abu Hudhaifa feels in his heart will disappear. She returned and said: So I suckled him, and what (was there) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa disappeared.
Any sensible person would be disgusted by Muhammad’s above strange sayings. I would quit this this religion!
Even if the Qur'an was 100% preserverved for 1400 years from day one, it would still be FALSE. Muhammad was mixing a bit of this and that from different religions hence the well-deserved accusation in QS 9:61 that he is all ears. He incorporated into the Qur'an Midrash stories and legends, Eastern Arameic Christian influences, Ziroastrianism, gnostic traditions, heretical Christian forms and Hinduism.
The Qur'an's forgery was plain for those at the time to see hence verses like the ones below:
25:4. But those who disbelieve say, ‘This (Qur’ân) is nothing but a big lie which he (- the false claimant to Prophethood) has forged and other people have helped him in this,’ (by) so (saying) they have perpetrated a great injustice and a big falsehood.
25:5. They (also) say, ‘(This Qur’ân consists of) fables of the ancients that he has got written down and now they are read out to him morning and evening.’
The New Testament, on the other hand, has been preserved in more manuscripts (before, during and after the 7th century) than any other ancient work of literature, with over 5,800 complete or fragmented Greek manuscripts catalogued, 10,000 Latin manuscripts and 9,300 manuscripts in various other ancient languages including Syriac, Slavic, Gothic, Ethiopic, Coptic and Armenian.
Dating from between 100 and 160 CE, the Papyrus P52 , a fragment from a papyrus codex written in Greek (WITH NO VARIATION) is generally accepted as the earliest extant record of a canonical New Testament text. The front of the fragment (recto) contains lines from the Gospel of John.

How did "JIBREEL" DECEIVE Muhammad and beloved Muslims?
How do Christians and Muslims deal with this greatest contradiction: Gabriel of the Gospels tells Mary that she will bear a son and he shall be called the Son of of the Highest (Luke 1:31-33) then 600 years later the "same" angel "Jibreel" tells Muhammad Allah does not have a son (QS 6:101)?
CONSIDER THIS SCENARIO: a mountain climbing instructor at the base of Mount Everest tells a group of mountain climbers that after climbing for 3km the path will diverge but they must take the EASTERN route, not the WESTERN one (even if they can see the top of the mountain from the WESTERN route) because while the WESTERN route may seem shorter, it is a death trap as a result of the rockfall and snowslide on that side of the mountain. The instructor warns the climbers that they must be watchful and NOT to listen to a different instruction from someone disguised as an instructor, wearing an instructor's orange uniform and instructing them to take the WESTERN route instead. True to the climbing instructor's warning, after 6km the climbers meet a man in an instructor's orange uniform who instructs the exhausted climbers to take the WESTERN route!
Dear Muslim, which instruction will you listen to? The instruction you received at the base of Mount Everest or the instruction from the man disguised as an instructor at the 6km point?
So it is with Islam: After the gospel of Christ had been preached, 600 years later a mysterious ANGEL from heaven (disguised as the angel Gabriel of the Bible) appeared to Muhammad the SERVANT of Allah in the cave.
[The mysterious angel never introduced itself to Muhammad as Jibreel. It was Khadijah, through her cousin Waraqa bin Nawfal, who CONVINCED Muhammad that this was the real angel Gabriel of the Bible]. Who gave Khadija or Ibn Nawfal the AUTHORITY to tell a man who thought he was Demon possessed, that the vision he had in the cave was that of the Angel Gabriel? Muhammads own testiment thought it was demonic.

According to the warning of the apostles, an angel who would bring a different message would in fact be Satan disguised as an angel of light.
600 years before Muhammad, the apostles had warned Christians to be watchful of such an angel:
"And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an ANGEL of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as SERVANTS of RIGHTEOUSNESS. Their end will correspond to their deeds."
2 Corinthians 11:14-15
[Shaitan is supposedly a jinn although he is punished for disobeying Allah's instruction to ANGELS (not Jinns) to bow to Adam? Whether Jinn or angel, it is beside the point. The point is that Satan is a being who is a deceiver (uses both RIGHTEOUS DEEDS (through his SERVANT) mixed with false worship of himself as "the Most High" (Isaiah 14:12-14).
Strangely, Allah claims to be the 'Most High' but that is a title which only belongs to the true God of the Torah who is our Father (Deuteronomy 32:6
Isaiah 63:16, 64:8, Jeremiah 31:9) and whose special, eternal and covenant name (which he revealed to mankind through Moses) is "the God of Abraham, Isaac and the God of Jacob" (Exodus 3:15). This covenant name is not any one of the 99 names of the 7th century god, Allah. Allah also says he is father to no one (QS 6:100)]
Just like the instructor at the base of the mountain, the apostles warned Christians 600 years before Muhammad, to be watchful of anyone, even an ANGEL from heaven, who would bring a new gospel of Christ different from the one that was being preached [gospel means good news/message (of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the salvation of mankind)]:
"I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel- which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an ANGEL from heaven should preach a gospel different from the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!"
Galatians 1:6-8
How does this all relate to Christianity and Islam?
CHRISTIANS listen to the instruction from the instructor at the base of Mount Everest, which is the gospel of Christ taught by Jesus, the disciples and the apostles. They will reach the top of the mountain, which is Heaven.
MUSLIMS listen to the different instruction of the imposter at the 6km point disguised as an instructor. This is the "ANGEL from heaven", "Jibreel", who appeared 600 years later bringing a gospel of Christ (QS 4:157) different from the one preached by Jesus, the disciples and the apostles. The WESTERN route is a death trap and they will not reach the top of the mountain.
Because of the different message "Jibreel" brings about Jesus, which the Muslim has believed from the Qur'an, the Muslim becomes confused and cries "corruption!" when he goes to the Law of Moses (Torah), the Prophets of old and the Gospel to check for harmony with the Qur'an, only to find the following:
• Jesus is not Prophet Isa! Jesus is greater than prophets. The Messiah, the ONE to come, is the Son of God, as revealed by the prophets, starting with Moses in Genesis 49:10, 1 Chronicles 17:11-15, Daniel 7:13-14, Isaiah 9:6 and the Gospels (Luke 1:31).
• Jesus was crucified as prophesied in Isaiah 53
• Jesus is prophetically speaking from the cross in Psalms 22.
• On his return in the end of the age, nations will mourn when Jesus reveals himself as the crucified Lord (Zechariah 12:10).
• The Muslim reads that Islam is ANTICHRIST:
"Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist-denying the Father and the Son."
1 John 2:22.
"The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them."
John 3:35-36
In the Hebrew Old Testament, God prophesizes about his coming and that the world will instantly see him as the God who was crucified:
“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they PIERCED. Yes, they will MOURN for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.
Zechariah 12:10-11
In the New Testament, it is Jesus who is coming with clouds (600 years later Allah (QS 2:210), also claims to come with the clouds and angels!
“Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. (Matthew 24:30-31)
IF Islamic prophecies are fulfilled, then yes the Islamic Isa, who will be the FALSE PROPHET, will come BEFORE the true Jesus Christ to break crosses but if you believe the lie that this is the true Jesus Christ, beloved, you will be stunned and you will weep bitterly on that day. You will mourn bitterly because you chose to believe a gospel different to the one Jesus, the disciples and the apostles preached:
"Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who PIERCED Him. And all the tribes of the earth will MOURN because of Him. Even so, Amen."
Revelation 1:7
Muhammad did not know where he was going to go but you are blessed to know that you will be SAVED and guaranteed eternity in heaven TODAY, not on the day of Judgment, if you accept the crucified and resurrected Messiah as your savior and do the will of God.

How nice when you have understanding parents! I was born and raised a Muslim. But I am now agnostic, and I don't follow any religion. I am happy that my Muslim parents are completely fine with that.
May allah take care of our fathers, and may allah guide your father to the truth. Islam is for everyone and universal not only to arabs or something like that. Explain to him the issues of this world and how islam can solve it.

Ever since I watched this video of a Christian brother who converted to Islam, he said his parents are still not Muslims. He started crying saying that he cannot pray for them to go to Jannah after they pass away because they are not Muslims :( I pray that Rebecca's father and mum accept Islam and hopefully meet in Jannatul l Firdous, ameen!
