This might be unpopular but i am kindoff dissapointed with bankai. The way i imagined it was closer to a tragedy, alot darker colder and sinister. The yellow effect really threw me off, it was more upbeat and less nihlestic than i wanted it to be. Maybe i misinterpreted the scene in my head.
I think it's actually cool we get 2 "different" vibes. The manga ver is more gloomy and dark whereas the anime, it's more theatrical and melancholic. I prefer the anime ver but i do see your point.
