Just finished watching it and OH MY! What an experience! Enjoyed every second of it. Everyone performed so well, the music, ambiance, choreo, everything was so perfect. Sanjay Leela Bhansali stood up to his name once again.

Beautifully written series . I enjoyed every episodes. Love, love the rich culture of India and unity of people. The story and the character , the acting, the set up, costume and the make up are grandeur… LOVED it. RESPECT to all who sacrificed, salute🫡 to unsung heroes.
Hi from New York, I just saw the much awaited pilot of heeramandi on Netflix and absolutely loved it. Sanjay leela bansaali is a genius and I plan to binge watch rest of the 7 episodes tonite. The female cast is beautiful, mesmerizing , story is brilliant and it’s based on a place Heeramandi “tawayaffo ki gaali”/ diamond district which existed in Lahore pre-partition 👍
The last bit is a bit questionable. The rest I agree with you. Just because a place existed doesn't amount to calling it "based on true events".

What powerful female characters 👍👍 Manisha, Sonakshi, Aditi, Sanjeeda rocked🎉🎉 in their characters and even Richa made her presence felt in her small role..Taha Shah was phenomenal.. Congratulations🎉🎉 to whole team of SLB for making such a masterpiece 🙂😌

Sonakshi stares, aditi rao hydari dance/existence best casted. Lady who acted Mallika sister action was not expected. After watching this series and SLB prior work I somehow feel Sara Ali Khan should work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali she has that Regal look but needs to follow her directors instruction for subtle acting.
