A few days before the Olympic qualifier series in Budapest.
I was extremly lucky, he came to that side of the skatepark where i was standing, he liked my home made skateboarding cat t-shirt, so i asked him about taking a photo.. crazy experience…
It must have been surreal watching him skate in person dude is a legend imo
Surreal! After his 12 hours long flight he was skating so effortlessly…. Crazy experience…

fr, that gives you much inspiration, i've skated with the emerica team randomly, i was only one time in that city(munich), went to the park and suddently i realized that spanky stands next to me. somehow i was super good on that session, as another one when i skated after a lakai demo with brandon and mike mo ect...
i actually hate posers, but whatever, on that first session i did some impressionnant kickflips, like a perfect first or 2nd try a 10 stair... after hardly two years of skating. they thought i were a part of the team until i spoke to my sister in swissgerman. :D love skate!
@@kjdacod that’s rad man! Munich is sick! It’s got that river wave too, right? Yea I skated with Jon Dickson (Emerica) not too long ago at my local park. Believe that day is on his IG, where he does a perfect nollie cab flip over a pink pyramid. Always inspiring to see it in real life!

My God that park looks awful. I felt like he was searching for a sweet spot this skate which was the pyramid selectively.

Budapest is a small city and now we have a few tennis court sized concrete skateparks but for me.. all feel strange… weird angles, quarter pipes everywhere.

I was in Budapest on November last year and skated in this exact park, been watching your videos from time to time, i remember some dudes were teaching me how to kickflip one of them had És muskas grey/blue - do you know him ? I really liked the park, crazy seeing video of him there just pop up.
It was crazy! Just landed after a 12 hours long flight and skated so effortlessly! I never skate this park so i dont know the local skaters, everything is too steep for me in this place, i am still in the relearning process. Hopefully one day i can do something there.
This skatepark seems to have a super odd setup.
How do you find it? Even Nyjah had hard time skating other things other than that pyramid
I cant skate here… too steep and fast, great for bowl skaters only.

Jake Ilardi and his team manager was there too. Yeah just a casual warm up session after his flight.
I think Nyjah points out his own switch stance to make it noticeable “which I enjoy” because he’s actually capable of standing as he would in his goofy stance(for those that don’t know that’s right foot forward). He does wicked shit switch and it’s bolts. I don’t think he’s a showoff I think he’s one of those born to ride. Nyjah’s definitely one of the Sk8Gods
