I've bought a 1.4 TSI with 150hp DSG, I definitely love it, it's such an enjoyable car. The only thing which sucks a bit, is the touch screen which could have been better imho.
nice video thanks, ive got the same car in Midnight black 66 reg ST FR 2.0 184 tdi very impressed with it in all Area's. love the Seat Profile Mode, Sport. just done 2000 miles. so glad i choose this instead of the Golf GTD Estate or VRS 184 tdi.
C W Hi C W. you named the three cars that I hv on my short list. knowing now that you chose the Leon. what didn't you like about the Skoda and VW. any info would be gratefully received if you hv time.
Paul Bain Hi Paul thanks for your message, i liked the Seat as i had the Altea XL 2.0 140 tdi which was a big roomy car before the Leon. i test drove the Golf & VRS and they just didnt have the X factor that the FR gives you, they are all the same Engines 2.0 184 tdi's but the Leon just felt more joyful and fun. the XDS really holds the car through corners at high speeds and all the modcons are really good. i hope this helps you in some way Paul. Good Luck.
I ordered mine around 1. March. It was produced last week, and it is on its way to Denmark right now. Its a 2.0 tdi 184 Fr ST dsg with all extras. 1.4 tsi Fr model are a huge problem, because of high demand.
Not right way anymore since there is airbag in steering wheel. Watch out for thumbs! Correct way is 9 3 with thumbs along steering wheel edge. Look: goo.gl/images/BRoR5i
so I ordered mine just after you. guessing it's on the same ship over as due for "early may" apparently. 184 FR DSG with all the options. Got told at the time that there were still dealerships in the UK waiting on demonstrator models so the wait would be considerable but damn how time drags while you're waiting and literally almost zero English speaking reviews of the vehicle, just a few from the unveiling.
i read today that VW has 2 types of DSG7. The oldest one is for engines up to 250 Nm of max. torque. They developed a brand new second type of DSG7 for engines above 340 Nm. of torque, which they put just now in the new Golf R.
+Marin Grozea Far better discounts on the Seat though running at 20%. So that depreciation is swallowed up with only 8-10% discounts on the VW's. Get that easily available 20% on the Seat and anyone would be getting a good deal and that extra depreciation on the Seat is irrelevant. For example, I have had a quote through Carwow for a Seat Leon FR 184Tdi ST, for £21.5K, that's a £6.2K discount! And I was still able to put a panoramic sunroof, better alloys, parking camera onto that for that price. VW GTD discounts are running at less than £3K, the £3.2K difference in discounts easily accounts for that extra depreciation. And the VW would have no such extras on it either. Not to mention that the VW would be £25K to start with up against the £21.5K that the Seat comes at after those hefty discounts. Do your numbers in the real world of discounts and the Seat stacks up just fine.
Check out my NIGHT POV test drive video with this car: proefritten.be/en/2017-seat-leon-fr-2-0-tdi-184hp-pov-night-test-drive/
Tip- hold steering wheel at 9-3.

What's the top speed of this car? (In MPH please)
142
Does this one really have 7-speed dsg?
I ordered 300 CUPRA yesterday and was told it has a 6-speed dsg?
Thank you for your reply.
Cheers!
I'm sorry but i think i put it wrong in the description. I checked the car configurator and it must be a 6-speed DSG
That's what i thought too. I am wondering why some has 7-speed yet the cupra only has 6-speed..

Did you get the cupra yet? Im thinking about buying one. Also, what color did you choose?
Hi, Cupra 300 incoming?
I should be able to make a video about the Cupra 300 when it is available
Ok nice! :-)
0-100 ?
It goes from 0-1OO in 7,5 sec
that is my car!! that´s not the right way to hold the steering wheel. Sorry but you drive very badly...try to work on it. The GoPro very well placed!!
It's a copy of Golf 7 GTD..The difference is that you gonna lose more money when you'll resell it

Milan Reznicek
Never want to miss my DSG anymore.
