The first shoe is wacky. If I saw that many aces in the beginning of the shoe I’m leaving the table lol. But this is very fun to watch for how dramatic it gets, especially with the last hand being 4 8s splits
Just the other day at my local casino I hit a soft 18 against a dealers 10 and the dealer looked at me like I was crazy and said “are you sure”? I pulled a 3 and won 21 vs dealers 20😂

The cards in the video are Bicycle Rider backs. They're the same material and feel as a real casino's cards. The more common version you can find in pretty much any store are the Bicycle Standard or Jumbo's. Unless you're a card nerd you'll never find the difference in rider backs and standards. They are made out of paper and an opaque glue.
If you’re talking about the very first hand of the game: the 17 lost to the dealer 18, the 13 busted, and the 18 ties or pushes. I didn’t forget anything. The result is loosing $200 and pushing $100.
I’m not sure what you mean. A’s are always worth 1/11 until the value becomes a hard hand (i.e. 12/22) at that point it can only be worth 1 or you would bust. So your statement is factually correct, aces aren’t always worth 11. Sometimes 1, sometimes 11, sometimes both/either.
