Hi and thank you for the video :) I have a question though. In 3:08, you click on the tool icon for the Form container and it shows several sections (Basic, Auto-save, Submission, etc.). I don't get any of these sections and consequently, it is not possible to set the Submit Action or any other parameter. Is this a known issue? What do I miss?
@@digitalexperienceworkshop4151 I am running a fresh AEM instance version 6.4.5.0. I have installed the following packages: aemforms-reference-themes-pkg-3.0.10.zip aemforms-reference-layout-templates-pkg-3.0.10.zip aemforms-reference-fragments-pkg-3.0.10.zip aemforms-msdynamics-configuration-pkg-3.0.10.zip aemforms-reference-editable-templates-pkg-3.0.10.zip aemforms-reference-dor-templates-pkg-3.0.10.zip aemforms-reference-artifacts-pkg-3.0.10.zip
@Digital Experience Workshop I can see a message saying: ”Press 🔧 on a component’s action bar to see its properties”. It is the same message that you get in 3:11 for less than one second before your configuration panel shows. For me the message shows up and it is there forever. Nothing more happens.
@@mustafaalabaychi Ah i see now. By any chance do you have "Allow anonymous access" option enabled under the apache sling authentication service (or any service that has an option for allowing anonymous access) in your configMgr?
Thank you for the video. I have a question - I want to create a pdf that will be filled out by hundreds of people, and I want them to choose where they will send the pdf when they click submit. Is it possible to base the "to" email on a text entry from the user?
Hello, thank you for these hands on tutos. I don't have the option "send PDF as an email"; i do have send an email; when i use it, there is no data in the mail received, the mail is empty. I am using AEM 6.3
Hi.. Thanks for the tutorial. However, the option "send email" works following your steps but it does not work while I select the option "Send pdf via email" as Submit action. It shows this error "[AF] [AEM-AF-901-004]: An internal error occurred while submitting the form"
Hi Mahadi, Sorry for the late response. A few things, is the form you are trying to send an email with have any components on it? Have you double checked your email configurations?
Simply superb!
Thanks for watching!
