Awake and I Stand Alone This song is from their 7th album When Legends Rise in 2018. All 4 singles from the album went to #1 on the mainstream rock chart. The other 3 are the title track, Bulletproof and unforgettable. Their 8th album Lighting Up the Sky was recently released. Sully Erna is the lead singer. Tony Rombola on guitar. Robbie Merrill on bass. And drummer Shannon Larkin has been the lineup since 2002.

I roadied for a local band out in Sacramento and we opened for Godsmack before they hit it big, got to meet Sully and he was one of the nicest coolest people I've ever met..
Amazing song, amazing band. Theyre great guys. The lead singer Sully Erna and the band has done a lot for charity. You should check out amother song by them, called Bulletproof. I personally have suffered with mental health and some other issues. I play this song to my wife when i go mute.

A great mellow one from Godsmack. Another song although heavier with great lyrics is Love Hate Sex Pain.
